To answer a few of your questions, at present we are not going to make a5000 series rotor for the BA Premium brake package. Due to the nature of how a lot of these vehicles are driven we made thedecision to release our entry level rotor a 4000 series. The 4000 seriesdiscs have a number of improvements over a standard rotor. Theseimprovements include Kangaroo Paw ventilation, Thermal StabilityProfiling (TSP), Thermographic Heat Paint, 6 x 6 wiper slot design orthe unique XS cross drilled and slotted design. Here is a link to our4000 series web page www.dba.com.au/DBA4000series_specs.pdf . The 4000 series rotors are able to withstand higher braking temperaturesdue to the TSP treating, and the rotor temperature can be monitoredusing the thermographic heat paint to assist in pad selection for on therace track. Our 4000 series discs were originally developed as a club-spec motorsport disc but due to the design of some OEM braking systems has becomea much better suited replacement for the standard discs due to theirability to withstand the higher braking temperatures, thus minimizingbrake shudder issues caused by excessive heat. As you would be awareFord has changed to a different rotor setup on the BF Falcon XR6 Turbo,so the DBA 42104 rotor is now an exclusive to the BA & BA2 XR seriesFalcons with the Premium brake upgrade and the BA & BA2 FPV Standardbrake kit. If you are using the vehicle for serious club track days and want tohave the best brakes possible I would suggest you look at something likethe V-Sport Club-Spec brake upgrade kit which uses a suitable DBA 5000series disc with AP-Racing calipers.I hope this information helps but if you have any further questionsplease feel free to email me.Kind Regards,Aaron FranklinProduct ManagerDisc Brakes Australia Pty Ltd...'
