Hey Guys,

My mate is shopping around for a XR6T and he found a good deal on a manual, leather, premium sound brand new MKII for $40,000. What do you think? is it a good price?

Also this deal is for only the Menace (purplish colour, the new one) or the Red. I havent seen many of these around. I have only seen 3 red XRs and none Menace coloured ones. Is there many around of these colours?

Hello, that's not a bad price but I'll still ask them for some free extars.

I'm in Wollongong and I've seen a few Reds going around but I've only seen 2 Menace 1 XR6 and the other a Turbo and both of them looked great.

Enjoy the car what ever the colour maybe.

The Mk I red Venom isn't as popular for some reason as the slightly more orange red Vixen in the Mk IIs. Suits me because mine's Venom!

But Vixen is still not that common compared to a lot of the other colours.

I think the Venom colour was carried over from the AU series, at least I've seen some in the same red. I think they changed to Vixen for the sake of changing, still looks good. Also I've seen a few base model BAs in Venom. Still doesn't matter much to me. I'm in the same boat at you Falchoon. Looks great!

I definitely would not consider Menace, reminds me too much of that McDonalds character Grimace! Phantom was much better looking IMO. If only Ford would steal that cheery black colour from Expensive Daewoo they had not long ago.

I'd personally avoid menace, I've see a few in the flesh and all I can say is - ... It just does not look right at all...

I'd put up with a Red one though...

Saw a Menace XR6 (T?) ute driving around today.

I've seen a menace GT with white stripes in the flesh before, its soooooooooo bad..

all I can say is, it will have terrible resale if you buy one. Personally I think the red is one of the best colours in the range.
