my trans started playing up around the 270 rwkw mark...just started to get a bit doughy on the 2nd to 3rd shift. i have a july 03 model so my trans doesnt have the upgraded kevlar clutch pack and bands(and i have the old edit). i got my trans modded by a guy in wangara who did the protyping and devleopment of the trans for ford so he know what he's on about. (pm me if you want his details) slicks... i think u would be looking at around 160 to 200 for 16 inch slick depending on the brand. i havent tried any specific brand yet so i cant really recomend any...

just beware as ive heard from alot of ppl that running low pressure in a 15 or 16 inch slick when u have 18 or 19" rims on the front can cause the car to react severly to steering inputs and make the car unstable. i havent actually tried any slick as yet but ive been told this by more than 1 person as i have 19's on the ute

My Wifes XR6T with 260 rwkw's stock exhaust , with a cai and a set of injectors ran a 12.9 @112 with 2.5 60ft. on the last meeting.. track was shocking.. BUT after a big meeting here Door slammer or alky the track will be fine... We will start braking things lol.

yours isnt a purple sedan by anychance? tuned by d and t? my best to date is a lousy 13.4. I need to get some slick and the wheels spin is crazy. I also plan to get simon from xtreme to retune in and fit the colder thermostat as the power drops off once the heat soak starts to get in

hehe il have to keep my eye out for a venom ford at the lights then since im a joondalup local, I defo wont be givin you a run with your mods hehehe.. not until I do some of my own anyway hahahahaha
