TCS limits wheel spin during acceleration. Also TC can cause diff probs when power is increased?? TC works by applying brakes to the spinning wheel (wheels in XR6T's/XR8's) and therefore the engine will be trying to turn wheels that have brakes applied to them........cant be good for diff if you have 400 ponies at the wheels.
