What Fuel Do You Use?

bp ultimate, optimax, and mobil whatever it is called, dont notice much difference in power but I tend to get the best economy from the utimate and the worst from the mobil

Would have thought Shell V-Power would have gotten more votes.. my tuner recommends it.

Shell V power is only 95ron in most states now

WTF? I have only ever used V-Power, thinking that it was the same thing as Optimax. That used to be the control fuel run in the Supercars. Now I am hearing it is only 95RON I think I will be changing to BP Ultimate. Not happy!

Anyone noticed that South Australian Mobil dealers no longer display the Synergy 8000 label on the pumps?

Went to 3 different outlets that I've used in the past, and none of them stock Synergy 8000 anymore.

The pumps now display UNLEADED UNLEADED 95 and UNLEADED 98

I guess they must be stocking the Caltex Vortec now.

I guess this has happened over the past month, and they have now altered their display panels at the pumps accordingly.

Maybe it's my imagination, but I have sensed a drop in performance in the past few weeks.

I hadn't suspected fuel, but maybe that's why.

I guess its time to retune for BP Ultimate.

my car is tuned to 100octane from united now. Use to ping a bit. Now it has no ping whatsoever AND we put in an extra 2 degrees timing in it! Good stuff!

e85 is now available at SHOUTLAND servo across the road. Also its available at Hoppers Crossing somewhere. (Both in victoria). Wonder when c16 will be available of the bowser! 'yeah mate im running on pump fuel!!' ... lawl.
