I was at the newsagent killing a bit of time and having a browse of the car magazines and saw an article in Perth Street Car magazine where they do a study on the head from a BA 6 cyl (don't think they actually mentioned if it was a turbo or not; is there any difference between T and n/a?). They reckon out of the box it's a pretty good head but with some minor work there are gains of around 20% to be had. This article was just a general overview, didn't really get into specific technical details. They said they will in future issues.

There was also an article about a new intake manifold for the Boss 290, developed by BPT.

I have work on the head in my car but I dont know about a 20% gain seems a bit much

LOL as long as it doesnt look like yours I think I will be right :tease: If my head was inside your helmet your car would go faster and do burnouts :P

Head work might make a differance for my next few steps I think

I wouldnt bother unless you pulling the engine out for other reasons as they are pretty good standard
