I too have annoying dash vibrations that I'm unable to find, but the funny thing is they're not always there, very strange.

yeah - a rattle from the demist vent at the base of the windscreen on the passenger side - If I turn up the air - it goes away???!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Have just managed to isolate a rattle to be exactly same as this (on a sedan). It was happening months ago and I thought it was from in the airbag area, but then it magically disappeared. Came back in the last couple of weeks - maybe its linked to the colder weather? It still comes and goes though. Managed to lean over and find it (stops when put pressure on the vent). Gonna see if I can stop it somehow tomorrow.

No rattles in my interior.

Console lid creaks and groans like an old mole though!

I have a sedan, the only rattle its had is the drivers door lock button, ever since the panel beaters had it so I'm guessing they neglected a washer or something they thought unnecessary? I'll get a Round TUIT one day.

my ute had a rattle in the dash that the dealer couldnt find... there was also a rattle coming from the seat belt area (near your ear height) this was never fixed either... then I had a rattle from the gearbox area and this they could not fix... In my sedan I have no rattles to date (touches wood)... then again, I dont drive it as much so maybe I just dont notice.

Hey all

There are things my ute does that's pissing me off, im sick to death of the annoying rattles from the glovebox, dash and somewhere near where the airbag should sit.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Mine has just started this and it is annoying the absolute I <3 Bananas out of me. It sounds exactly like a CD skipping, which is exactly what I thought it was until it was happening with the radio on as well! So I guess it’s more of a squeak than a rattle but whenever I get a chance I’m going to find the little bas*ard that’s for sure.

Keep us posted though if\when you have some luck and get it fixed.

Trent.
