SOON2BXR6T Member 78 Member For: 23y 3m 9d Location: Adelaide Posted 04/06/05 01:24 PM Posted 04/06/05 01:24 PM yeah - a rattle from the demist vent at the base of the windscreen on the passenger side - If I turn up the air - it goes away???!!!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Have just managed to isolate a rattle to be exactly same as this (on a sedan). It was happening months ago and I thought it was from in the airbag area, but then it magically disappeared. Came back in the last couple of weeks - maybe its linked to the colder weather? It still comes and goes though. Managed to lean over and find it (stops when put pressure on the vent). Gonna see if I can stop it somehow tomorrow.

I'll get a Round TUIT one day.

In my sedan I have no rattles to date (touches wood)... then again, I dont drive it as much so maybe I just dont notice.

It sounds exactly like a CD skipping, which is exactly what I thought it was until it was happening with the radio on as well! So I guess it’s more of a squeak than a rattle but whenever I get a chance I’m going to find the little bas*ard that’s for sure.Keep us posted though if\when you have some luck and get it fixed.Trent.
