I've had several good comments from coppers about my car during RBT's.  I had one say the T sh1ts on the XR8(he was driving a T).

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Probably couldn't drive a finger up his own bum.....The XR8 is much more than a match for an XR6T for HWP work, especially when it comes to point and squirt - stop/go acceleration!

It was just his opinion. it was neither right nor wrong.

BTW - I have noticed a lack of BA's in general of late as HWP cars, especially T's. Are they preferring the SS's again are they Plonky?

The current policy of the NSW Police Service is 50/50 share of HWP cars between Ford and ... er, some other mob ...

Plonky, the guys down here are now saying they prefer the XR6T to the XR8. Changed their minds from when the Ts first started appearing in the HWP down here. BUT, can you believe one of the locals says he still prefers the SS???

a mercury silver one tried to give us a run at the lights last night, with indy numberplates TRI24. Looked inside and it was an unmarked cop car.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I had the same thing happen to me. Was driving down Princess Hwy, and this blueprint XR6T came racing down and pulled beside me. At 80k's he went down a gear and ripped away well over 100km/h + Then he slowed right down to at least 60 for me to catch up and did this again! :smilielol: 4 times...!!! Then he lowered his window, and gave a smile and spun off to the distance.

I knew it was a cop in the first place, with heavy tinted windows and shade screens to hide the back blue and red lights, he even had two FPV stickers on the back either side...

Rob...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Would this not be considered entrapment, and therefor not legal.

Maybe once, but 4 times, WTF.

Seems a pretty low act. :smilielol:

Too much

Entrapment does not apply here. Its only relevant to "The Bill".

This does not mean that what was done was fair or right, but "entrapment" doesn't come into it. If you were issued with a penalty notice in this instance my suggestion would be to go to court and explain the behaviour to a magistrate.
