The old power calc says to me that you'll need 810hp to run 133mph & crack the 9 you are gunning for

Scotty Sorry but I must correct you.

The record at 10.96 @ 126mph set by C&V in Feb O4 was achieved with 390rwkw!!!!!!!!!

Do not take hp figuers so seriously as they are not the alfa and the omega of a quick time.

Torque, setup, and traction are much more important with these cars and most others!

Alot of people can make HP at rear wheels but not many run numbers!!!!!!!!!!1

This should tell you something!

No dis-respect intended.

Well done, it is good to see you set your goals high and have built one AWSOME car :spoton:

I think we will see a low 9 seconds before the year is out

So what you are saying is that they went 126mph & ran a 10.98 with about 530 rearwheel horsepower, so where is the connection to my proposal :spoton: .

I'm imagining that you'll be making about 200 more than them & will be able to pick up 7mph without too much drama

Anyhows, the speed calculators are pretty accurate, we'll see.

No disrespect intended.

I will make it more understandable.

4050 pounds

1100 horsepower flywheel that is.

80hp nos

28.5 inch slick

6970rpm over the line.

With 3.73 diff ratio

Equates to 155mph as a perfect run!

9.216ET

No 136mph scotty that's a 10 and only will ever be 10.

Again I state no dis-respect intended.

Well a 9.2 isn't exactly what I had in mind when I said a 9, but O well I'll be more than happy to see you running 155mph.
