Fitting K&n Air Filter

Featured Replies

I had no problems... Fit like a glove. The clips are a bit tight but that seems to be the norm.

Payed $167 for my BMC filter, the clips were very hard to get back on, just used a screw driver the lever them on.

Well guys I finaly got of my A$$ and fitted a K+N Air Filter. Took 5 minutes to do and no drama's .....

The main hassel was trying to find the Right Filter.

*AutoPro -- They said it will take a week to get in and cost me $170 ( Yeah Right )

*SuperCheap Auto -- They Said it'll take 3 days and cost $160... This was after a 15 discussion with a chick over the counter trying to palm off a Pod filter.. I was Like I dont have the POD!!!.. In the end I had to go outside and pop the bonnet to show her...

*AutoOne Walked in 5minutes later came out with 1 K+N HiFlow Air Filter for $130

Next on my List....

2nd CAI ....... Now which one.....????

That CAI looks to complicated for me... Im just a simple man... Absoultly useless when it comes to cars.. I was stooked I didnt stuff up the airfilter :w00t2:

Your obviously not a "hands on" sorta guy then which is strange considering you own a HgAg car..

But nah seriously the CAI is not that hard by the looks of it just take your time and you could get it done easily :w00t2:

I just got a K&N today, got home and slapped it in, only took a couple minutes, job done. Just have to wait for my next drive to see if it goes any better. Then again I could always go for a cold night drive... :spoton:
