I was just wondering what your experiences are with tyre wear.

I have 34 000 kms on the clock and have noticed the front are wearing more than the back, is this your case as well?

How many K's did you get out of the SP3000's?

Im at 36000k's and still going. Wear so far is pretty even.

Im at 26000km

fronts look almost new, rears are a little light on though, should run to 30-32000k but that will be it, on a side note I just noticed a cut across the whole tread of one of my rear tyres, the other has big chunks, about the size of a $2. coin, coming out in a line accross the tread.

I will go to ford service today and see what they think.

Just rotated mine at 30,000 k's, and was stunned at the tyre condition! ie. could hardly pick the diference from front to rear, all tyres had about 5mm depth of tread left! .........fantastic!

I have the SP9000 in 18". After 37,500km of driving all 4 are gone.

The wear is relatively even front to back, but I noticed the the insides of all 4 tyres are more worn than the outside half??????

So, what 18" tyres are you guys running, and would you recommend them?

My orignal rears lasted 25,000klms. The fronts were still in reasonably condition. Got 2 new tyres and put them on the front, and the original front to the rears. After 5000klms on the rear it was time for new ones again.

Love the Dunlops though, they're an awesome tyre. Have had Sumitomos and out of desperation NanKangs. Never again for either of them. Got dunlops back on now, and about to get a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1's.

If you had the 30k service recently you have probably got what were the rears on the front and vice versa... they did a rotation on my car at the 30k service. If you light up the rears a bit they should even out
