I cruise on the streets but do give it a bit between traffic lights for my personal satisfaction. In the city these cars drink more then a LS1.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>They are pretty close actually, both our T and SS will return fuel consumption figures within .5/100 of each other, though the T is quite a bit quicker, the LS1 is great on the highway though, I see 2L/100km less in it than I do in the T.Dazza. Soul Reaver Member 136 Member For: 20y 10m 1d Gender: Male Location: Syd Posted 27/03/05 11:00 PM Share Posted 27/03/05 11:00 PM I totally agree with the RTA's lack of skill in aligning lights on major roads, I sometimes wonder if it was done correctly whether traffice would be so bad in Sydney!!!As for fuel consumption I get about 450km 100% city driving and about 650 - 700km on a good highway run. I must admitt not bad on the highway. (With maybe 1/8th of a tank left at most). I usually get my 80km distance left warning tone at or just before I hit 1/4 tank left.that's using Mobil 8000 or Optimax. (Car runs better on 8000 though).Freeway driving is excellent (although I dont do much of that), even when I drive inefficiently. Arund 8-9L/100km. I have seen >500km per tank no problems, and that's with hard overtaking, flying onto on ramps etc. Amazing for a fast car.As you can imagine with that kind of fuel consumption rate, and my rear tyres being eaten every 9000km, Im kind of glad that I get free fuel, tyres etc!
