I'm getting around 17.8 per 100km, Sydney city driving. I cruise on the streets but do give it a bit between traffic lights for my personal satisfaction. In the city these cars drink more then a LS1.

They are pretty close actually, both our T and SS will return fuel consumption figures within .5/100 of each other, though the T is quite a bit quicker, the LS1 is great on the highway though, I see 2L/100km less in it than I do in the T.

Before BMC filter... I was getting up to 500km to a tank

After BMC filter I'm getting up to 560km/tank

70/30 - highway/city

I notice a huge improvement in economy when driving at about 90km/h, but anything over 110km/h the econ goes out the window.

Just wondering what people get out of their tank in distance ?

:spoton:

Highway / City  :nono:

Don't worry those two have trouble with reading and stuff.

I usually get about 450ks per tank in town, and 600 on the highway.

Used to get about the same, sometimes less around town.

Filled up the Focus today - 569km since last fill, at an average of 8.5 L/100km.

I totally agree with the RTA's lack of skill in aligning lights on major roads, I sometimes wonder if it was done correctly whether traffice would be so bad in Sydney!!!

As for fuel consumption I get about 450km 100% city driving and about 650 - 700km on a good highway run. I must admitt not bad on the highway.

Amazingly I got 630km out of a tank today with another 90 left on the DTE – nothing like some cool crisp mountain air to keep everything running efficiently.

Admittedly the tanks are a bit bigger on the utes but I’ve never had it that good, must be something in the fuel in Biloela.

9.92 L/100km, 80% freeway.

Dont worry Ani has a girls car........

12 - 14 around town depending on my state of mind..........

10 - 11 highway (being more than 400km's)

Depending how I tread on it......

Have had 25 around town and 16 on highway, but that's another story.....

City:

23.3L/100km usually is shown on the computer. I get about 210-230km before I refill. (With maybe 1/8th of a tank left at most). I usually get my 80km distance left warning tone at or just before I hit 1/4 tank left.

that's using Mobil 8000 or Optimax. (Car runs better on 8000 though).

Freeway driving is excellent (although I dont do much of that), even when I drive inefficiently. Arund 8-9L/100km. I have seen >500km per tank no problems, and that's with hard overtaking, flying onto on ramps etc. Amazing for a fast car.

As you can imagine with that kind of fuel consumption rate, and my rear tyres being eaten every 9000km, Im kind of glad that I get free fuel, tyres etc!
