I gotta chime in with mine...

clear lights do not look good, so at least you arent doing that, but agreeing with someone else before, the tinted lights look great on dark colours, and ok on lighter colours, but I think for lighter colours, normal untinted lights look good.

I think they can look good on some cars.

I have done it to three of my cars, I loved them. I guess some didnt?

If you do it, get it done by a pro panel shop. They just use 2pak clear with a few drops of black in it and it is as good as the paint on your car.

Personally don't like going the dark lights on lighter colours....

How about trying a tint close to your body colour, to blend them in more than make them stand out ??

Dark would look good on a Dark Blue/Green/Black....

Pretzel

I honestly think it looks good. better than chrome rice lights or clear lights.

I like it. :spoton: Clear lenses can look ricey.

hey guys a friend whos got them done to his car told me to used one part black paint and two parts clear mixed together and sprayed onto the lights then baked in the oven. He done it in blue cause his car was blue but I guess you could use what eva color you wanted. Comes out like the late model RX7 rear lights.

it is illegal. but then again slot of sports cars come standard with tinted lenses, so ic ant see how they could sting u to badly. I suppse its all down to how dark u tint them.

im not gunna go quite as dark as the photoshop image came out. but pretty close.
