First Stop: Tour of Maitland Gaol - Australia's most haunted gaolBecause of the 12.30 tour, we will have morning tea outside the goal just to cover our tummies until we have lunch at Morpeth around 1.45-2.00pm. At 12.30 We will take a guided tour through Maitland Gaol, I have been on a tour there, and its great fun and a real eye opener. Don't forget to say hello to a few of the inmates ghosts on the way in. Yes it's haunted. A Historian will be showing us around. ( Kids Safe )Entry prices: Adults: $9.00 Concession: $6.00Second Stop: Lunch/Looky at Morpeth After Maitland Gaol, we will take a short trip to Morpeth where everyone can roam free for an hour and a half, there are quite a few good shops to stroll around in and plenty of places to have a drink and grab some lunch. For those of us who love spending money, there are fantastic shops to visit so bring some $$. We will leave Morpeth mid-afternoon, around 4pm, if we make it over the rickety bridge, there are some fun roads to drive on on, we will get lost somewhere and those with SatNav can save us. We will then cruise to Sydney via the Freeway and everyone is free to travel as a group or head home alone.Date: SUNDAY, 30 January Meet: Berowra - The Old Berowra Toll Gates.
