yeah its the 750. I though I'd have no probs with voive but data may be another story

I hope someone else is footing the bill for your overseas access. Voice phone calls are expensive enough from your telstra mobile, I can't imagine what ridiculous price Telstra puts on data access.

The account is on a data plan because I make almost no calls on it but receive lots, I'll look for hotspots around the place but when I'm on a train or in the middle of nowhere I'd like to have a solution.

NextG does work OS but not at the NextG data speeds we have here in Oz. You will only get EDGE speeds or less.

As for the data rate, it is a TOTAL RIPOFF, you will pay 15c per KB or $150 per megabyte or $1500 per gig.

I would suggest you buy a local sim with data as a client of min just got back from 2 week in Europe with a $3,000 data bill.

I had warned him before he left, but forgot to change and had that nice suprise when he came home.
