By just altering the timing curve, I was getting unstable boost peeking way above the preset level. Usually too much advance and too aggressive a curve would bring it on.Most BA complaints of this problem are when the temp is low and the car has been cruised for a while, indicating that Ford engineers must be peeking the timing to get the best fuel economy in cold conditions. Guest Guests Posted 03/11/04 04:12 PM Share Posted 03/11/04 04:12 PM Since I went APS Phase II with Spiro at Autotech, not a single overboost. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>as ive said in previous posts spiro does some good work and thus no more hasles. with aftermarket ecu control you can't get it unless the jobs not done right! the only way for you to get more boost is to cap the sensor output so that the ecu never see's the real boost!
