Redhawk ....Time to lay this fairytale aside...... Donating Members 2,657 Member For: 22y 2m 8d Gender: Male Location: In the Ferry on the River Styx, not getting out just yet! Posted 14/08/04 12:14 AM Share Posted 14/08/04 12:14 AM Don't know about pulling the motor out to do the headers, have seen a few pacemakers go in and the motors did not have to be taken out.232rwkw for a totally unmodded 290 Boss is pretty good, a manual I would say. I would imagine he could see just over 240 with the headers. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12331-gt-rwkw/#findComment-154468 Share on other sites

I have had the chance on a couple of occasions to run against GT's and have found that anywhere from 0-150 I have been in front which would support a rwkw around the 225 mark, allowing for the weight difference, 230+ would be a good sorted stock GT, just like a Stock T putting out 200+ at the rears. Of course the sound and the look, ahhhh RegardsGJ Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12331-gt-rwkw/#findComment-154478 Share on other sites

I believe alot of other tuning houses have made or modified a spanner so that the engine remains in the vehicle. They drop the motor and gearbox under the car. They say that they can do the job a lot easier and line up headers better. less risk to customers car also. Does'nt take them very longthey were also dynoing a GT pulled 242rwkw Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12331-gt-rwkw/#findComment-155301 Share on other sites
