there is easy, medium and hard, then an extra hard that is locked, I started out on the default medium.

apparantly something happens when you put in the iddqd code from the original doom, I havnt tried it yet and wont be able to untill tonight, so if someone wants to have a go and tell us what it does.

Havent got D3 yet, think I'll need a PC upgrade from reading the min spec, but just finished FARCRY on medium, AWESOME game, will reply it on vetran or realistic.

there is some awesome looking total conversion mods for farcry coming out soon too.

IMO farcry is a better game than doom 3, simply because of the free roaming level design, everything else is fairly on par with each other, except doom 3 is much nicer to look at.

There is a mod for doom3 which put the torch onto your machine gun, its called the duct tape mod, makes it easier to play on the harder difficulty levels and doesnt take away from the game any.

If you're going to use this, make sure you goto http://ducttape.glenmurphy.com/ and grab the latest version of this mod. The first version has a few bugs in it.
