I guess that they're looking at about a 2-3 week turnaround at the smash repairer? Make sure the paint is top notch (you can choose blood orange if you want to) and get the leather replaced too. Could be a bit hard to sit on now. That's a unique way of lightening your car for racing. Better time down the 400 though.

Was wondering why you would go 2nd hand when most insurance co's will shell out for a new repacement car with the same options if it is less than 12 months old (some co's specify 2 years). Guess one advantage would be an opportunity to pick one that has had a chance to prove itself not to be a dud.

Zeke, I want a brand new car, but my insurance company go by manufacturing date, not purchase date. I am hoping they will get to their sences as at the end of the day they are not paying for the car. The truck driver or his insurance company will be.
