Like how much there is a LACK of feel/feedback in the steering. This was critisized in the magazine tests I read but I was not prepared for just how bad it is. It does not load up in corners at all.Doeas anyone know if there are ways to increase the feel? Is it possible to change the amount of power assistance? What about wheel alighnment changes? New parts for the steering system? Anything? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11403-steering-feebackfeel/ Share on other sites

More power assistance will only make it feel more vague IMHO, Less will quickly develop your arm muscles without the responsiveness. Its like coming out of a dentist and trying to eat something. Nothing happening! Is it just my car?Got out of a long line of Commodores. Most had good feel. Some were great.Have driven and owned a lot of other things. I am thinking there is something wrong with mine. I get into one of my company Verada (Magna) and they are soooo light, its like there are no front wheels. I hate the feeling, but love the T. My Wifes Kluger is also much lighter than the T's.Maybe your old commodores's powersteering hoses had fallen off and this is why the wheel felt heavier  Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11403-steering-feebackfeel/#findComment-135557 Share on other sites
profrat Member 126 Member For: 21y 11m 14d Location: Eastern Victoria Posted 21/06/04 12:07 PM Author Share Posted 21/06/04 12:07 PM Hmmm. Must be something wrong with mine. Its not the weight I am on about. Its the lack of FEEL. Last Late model camira was about the same at parking and cruising speeds but I could feel the tyres in the corners.I have owned and driven a lot of cars including sports cars, rally cars etc. I have never had anything with this lack of feel.
