Well, the inaugural Xr6turbo forum cruise went off really well, weather was great and we only lost one car!!! :cartman:

Must have taken a wrong turn.

It was great to put faces to names and get to meet some of the great people on this forum.

All agreed it will be great to do another one in Spring, maybe Swan Valley.

Anyhow got a couple of good pics.

Again thanks 1axr, grandad, davoWA, Torpor, and the couple from Quinns Rocks (can't remember your name sorry mate, hope you got home OK), Barry Batten, Glen, Sandy and your brother-in-law.

Cheers,

Redhawk

Well OK... I can take the wrap for being the only vehicle that didn't quite make it.

Things were going fine up until SW Highway where I lost the group thanks to a lovely magna and commodore. I could see the tail of the blueprint dissappearing into the distance. The speed limiter in the passenger seat helped in the process (and ensured no speed records were broken).

By the time I got past the traffic everyone had gone - I thought when I made it to Pinjarra that I must have missed a turnoff - not a XR to be seen anywhere.

After a little pit stop at a friends house it was all too late.

For the time I spent behind the blueprint GT - all I can say is that was one sweet note.

Even though it was short-lived it was a good ride....looking forward to the next run.

I will make sure I get directions or stay in the middle for the next one.

Thanks Redhawk for setting up the run - keep us informed for the next

my speed limiter just read your post and she still does not understand what your talking about, but I know what you mean.

I still dream about buying a car that doesn't have one.
