I will be changing jobs shortly, so I decided to checkout the latest XR's (Novated Lease etc etc)

Took an auto XR6 for a spin.. much better than a previous EL XR6 I had and definitely better than my current EL Futura!

Never driven a turbo before, so I thought, what the hell, lets have a go.

It was a manual, so I thought it might be fun for a comparison.

Well, now I know why this forum exists and why you are all so passionate about the XR6T.

After my 15 minute drive I was already thinking about how to get security clearance from SHMBO.

Only took me 5 minutes yeeehhaaaaaaa

This is where the thankyou comes in. If I had not read the forums, I would have stayed with standard brakes. Armed with all your experiences, I have decided to include the premium brake package.

Hopefully no one out there has the dreaded shudder with the Premium Brakes!

I did not tick the box for the diff clunk or the diff whine. I hope they don't throw them in for free.

So, I order it tomorrow - Citric Acid (assuming this colour still exists)

l have not heard of shudder with the premiums, but they do squeal like a stuck pig. Ford are testing a new brake pad to resolve that issue.

As for shunt, it is a NCO that's also random, you may be lucky, but then again you may not

well done...well done... seeing as though u have made a neutral colour choice....a choice that has no hierarchy or structure you shall be safe from lamingtons..... but u may have to undergo the initiation of the thong ceremony......but that's just my request

You must have a goog SWMBO,mine didnt want to tick the premo brake box,did in the end though..good choice mate,good luck..
