APS cars have run nos C&V record 10.98second pass  used nos. Steve at Redcliff Dyno has used NOS if used correctly it is effective.

Im 99.9% sure that that's wrong :)

So, it comes down to xr6 turbo motors are not weak, his mechanic is just a dumb ass.

Could anyone think of a reason you would need NOS on a T anyway.

NOS if used correctly is normally the most cost effective upgrade you can do. Horsepower for dollar.

with all the good kits out there aps/chiptorque/nizpro why would you need NOS also, obviously he had it just for wank factor.

I am unsure on this, but is the C&V car street driven, I know they retuned the sh*t out of the phase 3 kit to get to 10.98, as if any daily driven xr6t is ever gonna get that fast. A mate of mine put NOS on his EL XR8 and I do agree NOS is a great value for money mod, but it requires expert installation and careful use or you can kiss your motor goodbye.

Its perfect for the drag strip, but why you would ever need it on the street. It's illegal in QLD anyway, doesnt stop people though.

True most road cards don't run 26x8 inch mickey thompson race slicks. NOS as you said is good for the track and I agree that's the only place to have your ten seconds of fun as for street use it's no good having a car you can only enjoy ten seconds at a time on the road.

The C&V car is past ST3......you only have to see the plenum to know that

Don't know if it had nos on the 10.98 run though Con and Vic do know their stuff when it comes to nos

The car is a daily driver and a mutha at that <_<

Mate I don't know where you get your information from, though you are absolutely incorrect when you state that the Cand V (orange XR6T uses NOS) so please be careful when you make statements, that they are indeed factual. :gooff:

I recall the C&V car had a very high state of tune....

I believe it included running higher boost and high octane racing fuel, and NO cat converter? BUT I do NOT recollect any mention of NOS.
