I'm exactly the same. The brakes are ok and they stop the car quite well but the pedal is just a little to spongy for my liking. I've gotta press the pedal a little to far to get the car to stop. :outahere:

I have a December 03 build with about 12,000km on it.

No sign of brake shudder. Brakes are a bit firm on the pedal to start with but you get used to it pretty quickly.

Same. 10,000 clicks and nothing resembling break fade, squeal or shudder!

December 03. only time the pedal feels hard on mine is when it hits the floor.

I had an erlier build before this one and it was much better. Now have QFM pads wich are working heaps better.

Oct 03 - 18,000klms no probs. (hits head, TOUCH WOOD!)

Apparently brakes were upgraded to stop shudder in Oct 03, this is what I have heard and been told.
