You can see this idiot is in no way just out to get information on the XR6T. Especially when another 2 members signed up after he stopped posting, holdenkings 2 and holdenkings3. People like this bore the absolute sh*t out of me :gooff:

Also the other stuff he said was far worse last night until the moderators  put a stop to it.

Hmmm sounds like STREET TUNER has sent his siblings on the rampage

probably the same guy .... it is a real pain in the butt .... when we ban one ..... we have to watch the new membership registrations

this guy was a bit numb-nut but did show us that he could count .... up to 3 anyway

I don't think there was sufficient IQ available to possibly warrant the use of the word "spy" :o

when they use various aliaii (spell check) it gets real frkn hard to control .... can be like a virus :msm:

some of the holedn and nippon guys who post genuinely (even though we may not agree from the Blue Oval point of view) should always be made welcome IMVHO .... a little friendly flaming maybe :gooff:

I think anybody who has a bit of even Constructive Criticism should be able to post without get torn completely to shreds...

Stuff like "I don't like XR6T because they're cool and I don't have one" or "I don't like XR6T's cos they often show my <insert car here> the door"

is acceptable; where as:

"I just invented a car and bagged the sh*t out of yours and irritated you for no reason cos I have one nut and no brains"... :bantime: IMVHO

Chaps,

some of them come here to make themselves feel better. Some have respect for the T from their camp and dont make trouble.

Its flattering really  , coz Im not on their web-forums trying to impress them. Im only interested in the mighty XR6T!

Some rabbit on about their cars in order to justify to themselves of their purchase. It makes them feel better.

I dunno about here, but I know on other forums you can't link to this particular website, SOME PEOPLE really need to get over it. We are all ford fans for the right reasons - im sure there are plenty of members who come on here from another forum just to see what we all have to say, I have alot to say to them but I wont.

HMMMMM!!!!!

The site is now that popular, it will entice more and more people over, even if they dont own a XR at all.

The people who are out to bag dont hang around that long, and the one's who have a genuine interest in modifying cars will stay. And I find their input is usually valuable. It is important sometimes to see problems and solutions from another totally independant and unbiased view.

The moderators are doing a great job, they will weed out the time wasters, and turf them appropriately. They always do. If the time wasters really are troubling you that much, click the "back" button on your browser, and find another topic to read! Simple! :spoton:

While ever we are attending great events such as "ls1 v's xr6turbo", the site is constantly being promoted, not just to those people that own that particular make, but to the general public as well.

The suggestion of having to "introduce" new members is basically saying "we only want the people we know in, everyone else bugger off" I personally think that is very selfish. I didnt know anybody when I very first joined up, and I bet im not the only person in that boat.

My 1.9 cents worth.

What I'd like is for someone to register to join, they would do so by registeriing their location & then a current member would contact them meet them within a short time period, validate their membership (or nominate them) & off they go. prior to this anyone can read forums but would be unable to post.

Scotty CCC

ps. speaking only for myself I travel my little part of the world frequently & would be happy to drop in & meet intending members.

Bad idea Scott.

We are then restricting ourselves to the heavily populated parts of Australia only. What happens to our friends at Kiwi land and, infact the rest of the world? If new menbers have to meet up with somebody in order to post, the majority of new members wont even bother.

Like I said, I like input on problems from other people, who have a unbiased view, and dont even own a XR, but are heavily involved with modifying cars. Sometimes they come up with a idea we would never have thought of.

Leave it the way it is. The mods always weed out the time wasters. These time wasters dont hang around long enough to warrant membership validation.

I have to agree with ms700. ppl like the net coz its anonymous. I wouldnt join any website where I have to meet someone to join it. Too inconvenient, too unusual. The way it is at the moment is goodly :spoton:
