May 27, 200422 yr #61 Thanks for the comments guys, I have updated my signature to show what I'm about to get...They gave me the car for a day while they shopped around for the best deal on my trade in. So I got to drive it to the city for work, the wife had a drive out the back of Yarra Glen, also drove it at night to take it back - great test drive. No brake shudder, no driveline shunt. All feels good. The owner of the dealership was driving it to and from work. The word is it was not broken in shyly at all, hence it goes pretty hard now....Average lt per 100 was 13 for the day!I'm not going to say I cant wait a week to get it. I feel sorry for you guys having to wait months for yours!Cheers,Michael...
May 27, 200422 yr #62 Oh yeah, and when I was ordering the accessories last night, I asked for the Foglampcovers from the Territory - "But sir they are off the Territory and wont fit" - thanks to this forum, I offered to email her a pic of them fitted, and gave them the part number that they couldnt find...... Same with the GHIA bootlid carpet - "but sir that is not listed as an accessory" reply - "I know, it's a spare part for the GHIA - here's the part number for the carpet and the 14 clips I need" (they couldnt find the part numbers for them either)Anyway, thanks to the forum, I was a very well educated buyer last night........
May 27, 200422 yr #63 Author I bought mine from Bryan Byrt a Capalaba. They will prob give me the same run around.
May 27, 200422 yr #64 I doubt ANY dealer could be as unhelpful as these heads.Knowing that they'll obviously want to get it done before the end of the financial year I told them last night that unless its here by Tuesday, they will have to wait five weeks as I am going to Melbourne.......... Now lets see when I get it! Follwed one of their transporters back from the dealer last night to see if I could find where they are dropped off in BNE, but I lost the in the traffic! In all seriousness though, this dealer offers the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I have bought a new car at least every two years, the current car that's being traded just turned 1, and I have never been around so much. If anyone from Bryne reads this..........you better take some photos of the car when you get it, cause it will be the only way you'll ever see it again!

May 29, 200422 yr #66 Author Well - I dropped in to BB Ford yesterday arvo (for the thrid friday in a row ) to order my hard cover. I decided I had to go one because the soft cover just flaps too much on the freeway. While I was there the spare parts guy said the covers won't be available till the 9th of June, and my salesman who was talking to him said, "hmm that's a small problem because the ute will be here before then."So I might have to make a trip back to get it fitted after I pick it up, but at least the salesman said that the ute will be here before June 10 (not knowing I could hear him ), which is what I was banking on!!I also got an interesting special edition of Wheels mag that has 86pages on just the Territory. not sure if its new or not, but they are free and prob at all Ford dealers. Its a good read. Edited May 29, 200422 yr by rednut99
