I was at the fight in Wollongong and soloman got robbed that night and the crowd and the crowd let mundine know it.

I can't stand him either. And yes, he lost and good for that.

But look at Ali. He won and he lost. He took a hiding and he came back. He was and still is a champion. But he still lost. So you can't say that Champions are not losers. They win and they lose.

But I understand what you mean about Mundine being a loser. He has always been a loser in my mind and last night he lost his bout.

I'm not comparing Mundine with Ali. In fact, I think Mundine would love to be compared with Ali because he tries so hard to mouthe off like Ali did. But Ali had class. Mundine never will.

I think Mundine is a good fighter. Yes he has a big mouth but until last night he has been having very convincing wins after his last worl title loss of course. I hope he hangs around to fight as he is after all australian and a good sports man. Ali had a big mouth and during his fighting days was treated as you are treating mundine. But how is Ali now. A national hero.

Give the guy a break. He talks a lot and backs it up with his fist, everyone has there match in the end though.

Yeh, he's quite arrogant Mundine, though he has mellowed a fair bit from when he first started fighting.

I didn't watch the whole fight but he did slip/got knocked over at one stage and was visabally limping from his ankle injury. As you know he hurt his ankle in training a couple of weeks ago while training. He was determained to go ahead with the fight regardless, probably because of the major amounts of flack he received last time he pulled out of a fight because of illness (can't recall who it was against now ).

Reason he didn't want to fight Danny Green was because there was no title on the line, so he could see no point in doing it (and risk being humiliated if Green beat him!). Yeh, there was a couple of mill $ or so in it but I'm sure Mundine is not poor and the prestige of being the world champ in his class was more important to him.

Mundine however has fought patsies since getting his titles, dodged Greene and any other fighter that looked like they could do him some damage.

Mundine is a lousy role model for Aboriginal kids (or any kids for that matter), and the sooner he is cast out onto the 'Compost Heap of Forgotten Fighters' the bloody better.
