I live in East Keilor which is about 10 mins away from Calder on Sunday nights at about midnight is when the fast cars come, and I mean sub-12 sec cars that you might recognise from Calder. They'll give ya a challenge Geea!

I've seen some of the sub 12 cars they are awesome. :crybaby:

Is this at the track or somewhere near the track? Do these same cars get down south at all, I live near Chadstone and its a long hike to Calder. :pooh:

I actually find that when I'm running at Calder I lose as many as I win. I seem to run against alot of cortina's, toranas and the like. Big letterboxes and loud, but boy do they fly.

I dont know much about the Chadstone area but there are quite a few around Coburg and Williamstown mainly because I go there quite frequently. You'll find that any area with quite a few big car workshops there will be a lot of pretty wuick cars.

Hey thought this was interesting

While on my way to work tonight. I see the blue and red flashes about 1 k down the road. When I get closer it is actually a BA XR ( 6,8 or T ) unkown. It was HgAg in colour ( see cops have bad taste as well ) and it was covered in Rice stickers adn stuff.

So next time you line up at the lights. Ask yourself is that a cop teasing my or not?

And Scotty. I am chilled all the time. . But if G comes on this board and says that he is sick of looking at a female body for example I will have the same response. It is just not right that people get bored of blowing the doors off every car they meet :w00t2: .

EG. I am sick of looking at *beep*. There all the same. Just to lumps of fat with a nipple on them. It just aint Right  Bring on Never losing a drag and women showing their tit*ies

Does your pop have a "T" as well? If not we can organise something and we could have a few laps of the mountain between ends.

HEHEEH no he actually drives a bombadore :blush: Ken might know him though if he is a keen Bowler.

But it does bring up something that I was thinking. Perhaps a cruise to Bathurst for a BBQ and some nice photos of 10 or so T's line up on the Grid and at various points around the track.

I will post it in the cruise section.

Geea, I've got a mate in a warm 200SX that (I think) would easily keep up. It's pretty much a sleeper and makes 196 Kw at the rears. We just put a 50 / 50 water / methanol mixture in it the other day and he got me to test drive it first. I switched off his Race-logic traction control off (makes the XR6T's traction control look like a joke) and I did I dry launch and ended up in the next lane literally. The thing that you gotta remember is that there is ALWAYS someone with more power than you. Cruising around Dandenong rd isn't going to give you much competition. Hell I can clean up anything on Dandenong rd in the Stock XR6T!

I'll tell you what, I'll meet you at a place of your choice in your car, and I'll drive my mate's 200SX, and I'll take off and you see if you can catch me! Driving quick is not just about going in a straight line...

Sounds good Tockley. At this stage I'm more interested in the straight line stuff until I mod my brakes and suspension to keep up with the engine.

If your interested in a few traffic light drags upto the limit or there abouts I'm real keen. I'm not real interested in racing round the streets, I would be interested in racing around a track. I'm looking at doing a few track days latter in the year, possibly Sandown and Winton. I'm waiting for my Cams licence and also I need to save a few dollars to upgrade the brakes and suspension.

Geea. :glad:
