Magic Benny ... stock 245/35/19 Dunlop sport Max's caused wheelspin city in 1st, 2nd & 3rd gears and were bald as @ 8000km thanks to 380rwkw Blueboost tune Bridgestone RE-01R's rears get slight wheelspin top of 1st gear then your fully hooked up 2nd and 3rd ... have done 17000km and only half worn! Best $1000 acceleration improvement you could spend on these cars in my opinion

89W = 580kg max load 92W = 630kg max load 93W = 650kg max load With a 93W load rating @ 650kg x 4 = 2400 gross kg you can see that the OEM tyre load rating given by Ford has included 600kg's payload over and above the 1800kg weight of the car! This allows for a worse case senario of 5 x 120kg passengers or heavy towing. With the BF possessing 56% front and 44% rear weight split of it's 1800kg this gives an unladen load on the rear tyres of 400kg per side. Are my rear 245/35/19 89W Bridgestone RE-01R's with a max load rating of 580kg over loaded ... NO!

Good condition BA or BF stock rims look heaps better!!!

Ok ... been quoted $65,500 drive away on a brand new White 08 FG F6. $62,500 drive away for a 2000k demo Vixen 08 Vixen FG F6. Both cars have no options except fpv floor mats ... hmmmm decisions decisions Senna is this a good price or can you better this?

Traction is a simple fix on a F6 310 big Al Just replace the stock Dunlop Sport Max tyres on the rear with semi-slicks! 245/35/19 Bridgestone RE-01R's or Pirelli P Zero Corsa's - problem solved

If all your previous scheduled services have been carried out by a qualified mechanic AND your service book has been stamped and signed stating as such they cannot deny you warranty! Im assuming your car has not had engine mods performed! If you have skipped previous services or had servicing done by an unqualified person then and only then can they deny you warranty ... states this in the Fords own warranty book! Dont let them fob you off bloke

The ZF 6HP26 trans is great but has been around since 2000 and is now quite outdated. Why Ford Australia dont update to the newer generation ZF 6HP28 trans is beyond me? :wacko: Look at the specs for the 2009 Ford F150 in the USA ... you'll see "EVEN" its equipped with a ZF 6HP28 which helped it win pickup of the year.

Yes 2nd gear in the ZF is equivalent to 1st gear in the BTR 4 speed. Having the luxury of converter choice is also an advantage to the BTR 4 speed Still rather drive the ZF on the street anyday over the old BTR though

HSV been smart enough to equip their cars with 9.5 inch rear rims with RE-O50 275 /40/19 rear tyres!!! Why FPV uses 245/35/19 Dunlop Sport Max's especially on the rear is beyond me??? Fair enough have the same size rims all round on the XR's etc but FPV should step up their game!!!!

Simon at Nizpro has just managed to get 447rwkw on Shell VMax using the stock turbo, manifold with OEM BF internals for the Nizpro1300 drag project car!!!!!! Main gains from remapped cam timing to suit new Nizpro 102mm exhaust system by the sounds that's 730HP at the engine ... farkkkkkkk

Depends how crazy your are with loctite ... used sparingly I see no issue!!

My Nizpro flywheel was installed with Loctited bolts done up to 80ftlbs!!! No drama's thus far

Yeah attempting to get to the top of that icy hill in a Cat D10 would have been fun enough let alone doing multiple 360's while sliding all the way back to the bottom to have another go. Get the feeling its not the first time that operator has driven a Cat 10 in those conditions ... can see he's assisting it to spin on the way down. Looks like he was having heaps of fun

This is a Caterpillar D-10T dozer on ice. The dozer was trying to make it to the top of the hill to break the ice on the road to allow other equipment to come up later.
