Spoke to Dave on the phone today regarding my top end power curve in comparison to Grizzlys'. Dave has investigated stating the difference is'nt due to my Nizpro flowed Exhaust Turbo housing or twin 2.5" X-Force system. Apparently my stronger top end is all to do with the tune! :spoton:

Cool ... be good to see a 15KPH/secUp dyno run chart of this car. What do you think altered the power curves? Do you think the 3.5" single X-force was restrictive @ the top end compared to the twin 2.5" X-Force system on my car? I noted fuel was Shell 98ron ... is there any noticable difference over BP ultimate Dave?

Dave I've downloaded this dyno sheet and overlayed mine ... can clearly see now that the Nizpro exhaust turbine housing definitely sacifices a little low end but gives much more top end punch. Even though my car produces peak power of 378.2rwkw at 174kph which is almost identical things are much different at 200-210kph where I have over 30-35rwkw more then this setup. Do you have a 15KPH/secUp dyno run of this car? I dont have a 98ron 20KPH/secUP dyno run to compare with

I still wouldn't say that ... a stock VE HSV GTS will liven up with a good MAF less tune too

Apparently with this cam and twin 3" X-force exhaust these VE HSV GTS's produce 320-330 rwkw!! It would keep allot of XR6T's honest and sound fu*king awesome while doing it This Russo performance VE HSV GTS reminds me of my old C.O.M.E. built VN Group A twin throttle body 383 stroker motor equipped with a 230 degree @ 50 thou lift roller cam I had in a Expensive Daewoo Ute. That thing just sounded so tough the moment you turned the key

Bloke you've gone off on a tangent! If you want an FG FPV 310 but with the smooth tough looks of a GTE you'd be combining the best of both worlds. Theirs no difference in the front or rear bars between the two of them apart from the XR8 bonnet and the GTE's lip spoiler. This wouldn't cost much and Im quite sure S.F.A. would think Ricer when they looked at it cruise past on the street!!

Am just being sarcastic Dave I have no intention of buying a VE HSV GTS and modding it with exhaust & cam ... though it would be a good toy to have around for a fang in on the W/end. That thing sounds so tough with that lope at idle. I will be upgrading to a new FG FPV F6 or FG XR6 turbo soon

Doesnt take much to make a FG FPV F6 look like a GTE! Buy an FG XR8 bonnet, GTE boot lip spoiler then find a good spray painter to colour code the front bar and paint the bonnet & GTE boot lip spoiler all at the same time .... done

Still yet to fit a Process West surge tank to mine ... is the 044 Bosch hum audible only when stationary or as your driving along as well?

Congratulations mate Dave (Blueboost) knows his stuff and your dyno, afr's and boost graphs look almost identical to mine. How do you find the sound of the exhaust at low rpm from within the car with the X-force 4" dump? I noticed mine was allot more tinny compared to the factory cast iron dump at low rpm You'll have to purchase some semi slicks now get some traction

Venom, Do you have the specs on the upgraded Piston & Rod assembly that the FG FPV F6 310 utilises? Fords tech info states FG FPV F6 310 has its own specific stronger Piston's and Rods over the FG XR6 Turbo Someone mentioned on these forums that the FG FPV F6 310 has Mahle Pistons stock ... is this true? The Cam & X-force exhaust seriously wakes up VE HSV GTS then by the sounds (pun intended) 320-330rwkw is close on a 100rwkw improvement over stock isnt it?

I note you still haven't managed to suggest another rwd 4 door sedan that is comparitive in terms of performance, style and PRICE of the FG FPV 310?? Interesting to read Motors Performance Car 08 round 1 where -Warren Luff lapped the $141,000 C63 AMG Merc around Lakeside in 1.03.3 seconds. -Then lapped the new $49,000 FG XR6 Turbo in 103.6 seconds!!! The new FG's are such ugly slow sh*t cars I cant believe Ford didn't consult you Doc to design them better

Yes lets focus on all the great aspects of the new FG FPV F6 310 No point whinging its not built to BMW or Audi quality levels

Yeah sacifice some low end but listen to the gorgeous note at idle Sounds so bloody tough and im no GM fan
