A cruise to Prossy Dam for photos would be good. Good to see we have a few people coming along. Hopefully if all goes well we can do some more cruises through the year as well.

Possible - but for many of the replicas the boss motor is too wide, and wont fit into the engine bay. The car looks nice, but there are a few things that dont look quite right to me, but... very nice all the same. ← Ive been looking at buying a kit off DRB and the BOSS motor fits into their chassis. An old bloke I work with is building a MG replica with MX5 driveline and suspension. The motor must be under five years old, Australian complianced otherwise it doesnt meet ADRs and so will not be passed by an engineer. I think if they use a motor from a half cut from Japan they have to get it emmissions tested before it can be passed by an engineer. In saying this there will not be much choise but the BOSS motor for the Cobras in the near future. I seen a Cobra replica with an LS1 in it at a car show not long ago but that's just WRONG! Off the topic abit sorry

one of if not the best cobra replica I have seen. Hopefully one day I can build one for myself with a BF XR8 or GT donk in it

personally I dont like the look of them. Also if they were to play up you would have to send them back to Summit in the states for warranty. If you bought a cobalt gauge from say Autobahn or GoFastBits and it played up you would be able to get it replaced or repaired quicker, at least I would think so.

I have a 3.5" DiFilippo exhaust. The rear section goes from single 3.5" to the rear muffler then twin 3" pipes. Looks good sounds good and pretty much has no restiction. Im not sure that's what your asking about but that's what I got anyway.

you could use your flash tuner as an immobiliser. Im sure you would be able to have a tune where your car can be immobilised some how?

I hope you can make it Daniel. BLONKS post is correct around 60 secure car parks with security 24hrs. It looks like there will be a few cars attending. The hose is Gate submersible fuel hose. Normal fuel hose ihas SAE 30 R stamped on it while submersible fuel hose has SAE 30 R10 (I think) stamped on it. You can order Gates fuel hose through REPCO or Hardy Spicer.

yes it fixed the starting problem. The check valve in the top of the pump was stuffed and was not holding pressure in the line. Are you in mackay yet. when can we chuck the car on the dyno?

in tank hose. that was the outlet hose but the return hose was swelled up. Replaced them with new Gates hoses. Dont really want to take the tank out again theres an up side to it though ,I can pull the tank in and out pretty quick now. I replaced the pump aswell
