Got price for super lows from local sus shop, he claims that I need to replace shocks as well with these's springs. Quote was $770 fitted with wheel align. Am I gettin ripped off?

Thanks for the possitive feed back on the t guys, car really growing on me. Yeah IH8PORK, it had done about 2300km's when I left perth, done about 3300 now so time to start pushing a bit harder. Fitted lower mesh over I/c today and removed them blooody number plate surrounds(bin). Took a coulpa more pics so here they are. Got a few hsv and dunnydore's to sort out up here, me xr8 got most of em, just have to clean up the rest.(1 6.0L CLUBBIE TO GO). Hope to get super low springs in soon, rip off that tint and put same on as xr8 had and tuning. On the subject of range ford, I got xr8 from them and done ok so I went back again.

The car is a 2001 220kw auto. Momo wheel and gear shift, cloth trim 101k on the clock. Manta exhaust without rear mufs, k&n filter, good strong engine. Still drives like new despite km's. Would still have it if I could have both cars. Can send more pics if needed or send me an e-mail. Sic car.

Well done! The 13.4L/100km is a bit high for highway use though? Mine does 10.0 - 10.4 sitting on 120 from Melbourne to Sydney.. maybe the hot day was what caused it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some of this was done at 160-190!

Have to agree there, only had my T for a day after the 8 and am very impressed.

Finally got down to Perth yesterday and parked up the xr8 and drove away in the turbo. Disapointed in performance at first as it only had 2k on clock. Quite a hot day etc, was hoping it would improve heaps. Left Perth at 5am this morning in cooler air and noticed a bit of an improvement, by the time I got to Carnarvon( about 1000km from rockingham)performance had changed heaps, now it gets up. Fuel consumption was great for tight engine, 13.4l/100km at 120-130 kliks.(auto) Car has I-design interior with leather and p/sound. Sweeeet! Droped into see Simon@ xtreme ford tuning about some upgrades shortly, glad I did. He took me for a spin his wifes xr6t and I thought that was impresive untill he rollled out that black F6. Now that car is totally nuts, words cannot describe what it"s like, you just gotta go for a ride, f###ing mental!!!!!!!

Had A VK GPA dunny door way back . Went ok for a while, but engine couldn't cope with the treatment my 4.1 corty put up with. Sold it and got a s2 ea 4 speed auto falc, that did over 200,000 hard kliks without a prob. Been back with fords ever since, my own fault for buying a you know what I spose.
