  1. I'll be heading back in a few weeks so will go a bit harder off the line next time!
  2. Really didn't get any spin to be honest with the drag radials on. Just wasnt sure if theres anything else I'm missing apart from stalling it up.
  3. Drove to the track on them without issues. Thanks fellas! I'm dyslexic and cannot turn off simple functions in tapatalk

  5. Hi Guys, looking for some feedback on how can I improve my time (60ft really) I ran a best of 12.286 @ Calder Park on Sunday on my first time at the strip. I've got an FG XR6 Turbo making 336rwkw 1000cc injectors, GT3540 , PWR Stepped Cooler, Blue Power Airbox and used 275 M&H drag radials. I didn't stall it up for fear of twisting my tailshaft (obviously it would have helped the launch) but I also think my burnouts probably weren't big enough possibly and this would have also affected the 60ft. slip below.
  6. Hi guys, Just wondering whether anyone drives to the track on their drag radials (on ba rims) I've got a set 275 40 17 m&h Would this be safe on a dry day or too dangerous since it's only an 8 inch rim and the tyre might pop off?
  7. Hi guys, Any idea on whether 17x9 +38 rims will have any fitment issues on an FG? (as an alternative to stock 17x8) Standard height and brakes The idea is to run 275 40 17 ET streets on them.
  8. thanks guys!
  9. Hi guys, Just after some feedback on whether this crack is going to cause any major issues for me. I can see from a quick search that cracks are are quite common with ported wastegates and some people continue to run them without any issues but just want to be sure. Thanks
  10. Yeah I should just stop being a tight ass and get the rest of my modding done up front!
  11. Added the cai +pwr cooler and had a retune in 4/15 Originally just had injectors and cat from memory. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  12. don't get me wrong, I did say it drives great and I'm regularly destroying just about anyone that pulls up next to me. 300 was just the figure I had in mind as the target. More than happy with where it is at the moment but it's just far to easy to keep modding these things!
  13. Hi guys, my 09 FG XR6T with the following mods made 293.5 (hottest run) a few months back although tuner did show me other multiple runs where it went over 300kw. -Venom cat -F6 injectors -PWR Stepped cooler -Intune motorsport intercooler piping -Bluepower CAI The car goes great but was disappointed it didn't crack 300 .As with everyone else I still want more, I've picked up an xforce 4 inch dump and cat which I'll be throwing on at some point but I'm also thinking about upgrading to one of Bluepower's hybrid turbos.
  14. Cheers, blue power is my tuner anyway and I'm asking them for options as well. I know they do hybrid turbos but mine has done 150,000km do dont think I'll it's worth stuffing around with it.I'll see what other options Theo comes back with. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks mate. Might check them out. Anyone else have experience with Mamba/Kinugawa? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks mate that's interesting, I have seen them around as well but had made the assumption that they were a cheaper knock off. what sort of power were you making?
  17. Hi guys I came across a few listings on ebay from a mob called rose rage turbos. Firstly just wanting to see if anyone has heard if them/ has any experience with them and secondly to verify whether a core replacement like this would be a valid upgrade path for someone with the stock baby turbo. Apparently the particular the item in the link below is a direct fit for all XR6 turbos however I dont know enough about this sort of stuff to verify this. Keen to see what others think http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GT3582r-Dual-Ball-Bearing-CHRA-Performance-Build-GTX-/151894119843?hash=item235d9855a3:g:2n0AAOSwBLlVdA6C
  18. Maybe I wasnt specific enough with my question. With dyno figures specifically which run would normally be the one that tuner would use as the measure when advising the customer of the max power produced on the Dyno? I understand that there are other ways of determining power but I am simply wondering in relation to using a dyno as a measurement of power whether some tuners might base their figures off a cold run for example.
  19. Hi guys, Just wanting some feedback on what is the most conmonly used method for determining max power (what is printed on the dyno sheet). Coldest run, hottest run or somewhere in between? My tuner goes by the "hottest run" which is obviously going to be lower so just interested in knowing what is common practice.
  20. Ended up ordering some upgraded piping from Intune motorsport. Will look into upgrading the intercooler later on down the track. Thanks for your feedback.
  21. Looking to install myself if possible so cutting is out of the question.
  22. Thanks guys - am I at a high risk of pipes cracking or bursting at this power level or is it just a precaution? I've seen this kit http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/351112244359?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Seems to be a reputable company and the price is good. Do you have any feedback on these units (keep in mind I am not looking to go to 300rwkw max)
  23. Hi guys, I have an 09 XR6T with 275rwkw (f6 injectors and high flow cat) Just wondering what people's opinions are on whether I should consider upgrading the intercooler piping at this stage? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks, Nathan
