    Still no idea what it is. Hasn't gotten any worse ... or any better. Was due for a service so did oil, oil filter, air filter, intake clean, new plugs etc etc and still no change. Kind of taken the 'if it blows a motor or box I'll upgrade it' still it's driving me fkn insane!

    Pulled out the glovebox and icc definatly not there. checked the heatshields around the exhaust etc all were fine and had more then a fingerspace between the exhaust. got under the passenger side and the noise was louder. Could possibly be the bottom of the intake, what get me is it's in sync with the idle of the engine or a coil/plug I know my PS pump is on its way so it's whining but the idle is down to 500rpm and it's rougher then usual.

    I got back under and checked it. Does it regardless of if it's PRND I can't hear it from outside the car not loud enough to find it anyway. Inside it sounds like it's coming from behind the a/c controls / tissue holder. Defiantly nowhere near as loud as steves I've removed the heat shield over the extractors no change :( Unless the exhaust is hitting or something's come loose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hi guys, My FG xr6 auto has developed a rather loud rattle at idle. It's either coming from the rear of the motor or the gearbox. It doesn't do it when it's cold and only 70% of the time when warm. The car runs fine otherwise and getting good fuel economy.     Anyone able to help, the last couple of days I've notice a rattle / knock.     I'm loving my new brakes alot better then whatever was on there before. The only thing is the new pads are producing a sh!tload of dust. The front wheels are black after less then a week!

    Has anyone consistently run P100 fuel and noticed a change in fuel consumption? I've been running it for about 5 weeks which would be about 1500km. Since Friday afternoon I've done 250km including the cruise on the weekend. I'm sitting on 5/8ths of a tank and the computer is showing 11.1ltrs/100km as opposed to the usual 14.3ltrs/100. I'm only running it as it's the same price as BP 98 and there's one on the way home.
