Depends on your ford dealer, I had issues with mine! They were able to activate the computer and get the car to run but said they couldn't get it to reconise the ABS module and didn't know how to sort it. It is better to run boost control though the standard ecu if possible rather than aftermarket.

No worries, cheers for the info! Ended up going for an 8mm spacer for the rear to give a little bit extra clearance, extreamly happy with the result and the photos I posted dont do it any justice at all. Have you had any issues with yours and are you still useing the bendix pads?
-
Sounds like a good idea, I'll get onto that asap.
-
Cheers! Been a huge project with the full conversion and all but these were the final piece of the puzzel, for a while I couldn't justify the brakes being worth more than the initial cost of the engine, don't think I would have been happy with anything else though!
-
They also make a product called rich leather cleaner/conditioner :D
-
Had leather in my previous car and used meguiars gold class leather and vinyl cleaner, seats were pretty old and it did an excellent job. Meguiars is always a safe bet for a quality product.
-
Finished!!! :D sorry about the quality, sh*tty fone, spend too much on the car to afford a decent camera will get some decent pictures when possible! Happy with the result they feel awsome. Can't help but think there is something missing(besides the bright fuggin green, pirdy colours and all that)

If your not too keen on making something autometer make a variable dimmer which will support up to 6 gauges!

Ss Growler Kit Legality On P1's?
alltourque replied to Jason9422's topic in Ford 4.0L N/A Discussion
If your really serious about getting any power from your n/a you'll need three things; intake, exhaust & tune, people don't realise the intakes on these things are very restrictive and you'll see what I mean if you ever pull it apart ( sometimes wonder what ford was thinking), these motors respond very well to an exhaust (full system or your wasting your time), most importantly you'll need a tune! You should make about 170-175atw with this combo. FYI, iv'e been there, done it. -
Appreciate all the info guys, leaning towards the silver with black logo, was originally worried about silver looking standard but I don't think it's possible for these things to look standard! Like the thought of green but think it might be too much? For me it's just as much about the looks as it is the performance, it's the kids taxi, Can't wait to feel the difference considering the brakes on there are naturally asp. (TINY)

Cheers guys, not sure I want to repaint even though green would look good, definately agree looks is a bonus, the more I look at it black seems like the right choice but silver with black writing would probably be a nice contrast with all the green and black.

Haaaaa! Good one!

Gday everyone! Perchasing a set of harrop ultimates and im at a crossroads with what colour calipers to go for with a green and black theme? Want them to stand out because lets face it if you spend $7 grand on brakes you don't want to hide them! reckon the yellow looks awsume but not sure if it would look cheesy, don'think red would suit? think silver would look a bit plain! Black to me would suit the best but wouldn't stand out? Would love to know what everyone thinks.
-
How did the rears go for fitment, any caliper clearance issues with the rims?
-
What brakes you got behind those wheels?
-
Hey PLAYRZ, looking at a set of ultimates for mine! I have dallar 5's as well in 20/10, you said you had to space the rear to get them to fit, was it worth the hastle and how did you go about it? Would appreciate any info, cheers

Yeh! Cheers, feels much better, couldn't believe original bushings were shagged after only 50,000k's and the condition of the gear set was a surprise too considering it was originally behind an n/a engine.
-
Nah! I planned to but was so keen to get the job done I completely forgot to take some. not a job id want to do to often, bushings are a pain in the #%@&@# when you don't have the right tools
-
Diff rebuild with new gear set & eaton true trac detroit lsd centre, superpro diff & trailing arm bushings.:D
-
Might have been me! Not from town but been back & forth a few times lately during the project, I know of another one same colour getting around.

Bought a full conversion from athol park ford wreckers, while engine was out I upgraded the valve springs. Did most of the usual upgrades and go fast bits, exhaust, intercooler & piping, clutch, ss inductions cai with big mouth, custom tune by Paul tyler at LMG performance/Warnertown.

Thought it was about time I posted some pics, almost finished my n/a to turbo conversion and pumping out 330rwkw. The only things left to do is rebuild diff with eaton trutrac lsd and upgrade brakes.
