I had this problem in my au ute which has something to do with the old au keys where the battery in the key will drain to a level it does not deactivate the car immobiliser... Hope this helps

Yes I am gng for 300rwkw... As the price difference for 600 and 1000 is $295... It will give me the option to chase 400rwkw if I choose to down the track...

Dump & cat...1000cc Injectors... Surge tank for e85... trans rebuild... And engine rebuild when it goes bang... In those order...

Is Tt a cv joint? I didn't know BA got 6 speed auto... Mine is only a 4speed so I think my engine cannot take as much of a beating like yours...

The drivers seat leather is tired and cracked compared to the passenger seat... Was thinking how can I swap the seats around so I can wear the passenger seat down... Anyone have taken seats out or swap them before? Step by step instructions?

Hi kylec... I have thought of gng down that path b4.... But after reading this forum and numerous others... You are better off getting a decent intercooler... Either a second hand good brand like CAPA (which I got 2nd hand) or hdi... Changing from a monza to fg cooler will not gain much power...If you are after serious power then those I mention are not really up to the job... Anyone can correct me if I m wrong as I m still new to this...

With regards to power at 4000rpm... I m guessing it's the valve springs.. I do get similar feeling when I push mine... Especially when low revs n accelerating hard( pedal down)... No power or not accelerating as much as it normally would as accelerating in a controlled pedal down motion... Does misfire when there is no power
