Ok thanks- not sure if its worth the time and effort of them taking the ute- im assuming they just do a respray? I love the look of the mud flaps off though Its a 2010 model it has warranty left until end of July thanks mate for the reply

Howdy guys Just removed the mud flaps on my new purchase, fg f6 ute, noticed scratches from where the mud flaps have rubbed/wore down paint work Thought I had read somewhere people had this same issue and had it fixed under warranty? Any pointers would be appreciated Cheers

@ ronfg Im in the same boat- conflicting views on ways to get 330-350 rwkw Some people say tune exhaust and injectors, others say front mount etc hmmm- help lol

Was going to post a similar thread tonight Picked my f6 ute up yesterday and tonight especially noticed a 'knocking' rattle from underneath. around drivers/passenger seat. Doesnt sound like motor, more so sounds underneath it When the car is idling and I blip throttle quickly it rattles off bottom revs then dissapears, then as revs come back down to idle it makes another knocking sound occasionally. May take it into ford tomorrow im slightly nervous

@ Rowdyburns I have rung a few people here in Adelaide and no one could offer me any advice, I am new and have very little idea so I was seeking the help and advise from others before making what I would call an expensive decision, im purely trying to learn from the people with experience so im not sure if that's a reason to post a response like that As for the other guys I really appreciate the responses, I will try track down a phone number for the Pat wholesale suspension

Im also interested in this Advantage of 4inch over 3.5inch? My f6 currently stock, would like to aim for 350 rwkw which would be better? Was thinking exhaust re-tune? Injectors/fuel pump if necessary (are f6 stock injectors big enough for 350 or need higher?) Thanks

Well I guess more grip, more control, more confidence in it, and generally just be a better handling vehicle So I'm assuming SSL front, what's the best option for the rear? And any price quotes? Thanks guys

Thanks for the feedback Anyone have any input on ride/handling with just new springs in the ute? Do the f6 utes just run same suspension set up as the fg xr6turbo ones?

Just wondering what peoples experience and thoughts were with suspension mods to the ford F6 ute I would like to lower mine to make the stance look a little more agressive I would also like it to handle better if possible, I know the handling in these utes arent a strong point Springs are obviously a cheaper option, but will these ruin the f6 current suspension set up (eg make it ride worse?) And which springs./leafs are best for the fg f6 On the other hand, I have been quoted about 2200 for a full front Tein coilover package, with rear struts and leafs? Has anybody used this package? how did it ride/handle? Ultimately I would rather go the spring option purely on financials but if coilovers are that much better maybe I should wait Thanks again!

Clean as, not normally a white fan but in the f6s they look so good with those panda eyes, definitely would turn white for!

Just wondering if anyone with an fg f6 (not sure if other fpvs have them also) has noticed the front drivers seat tends to bubble and crease right under where the butt would sit. 9/10 second hand f6's I have looked at have had it, and the eventual one I bought also had it My question is, is this a warranty replacement job? Has any one exeperienced this? The car I just bought still has a couple of months warranty remaining and want to make the most of it if possible Thanks alot Pic included for an example

Hi guys Just wondering what the going price is for two styles of wheels The ones I want to sell are the FPV 19inch 'twistie' style of mag they have tyres included (original tyres and wheels from purchase) Dunlop tyres (plenty of tread left) Front 2 immaculate, rear 2 have slight wear, can post pics How much are these worth to sell? And how much would I be looking to get a set of the dark agent FPV rims? Thanks alot

I really dont want to buy a set of trouble if its risky buying second hand stuff Any feedback greatly appreciated! thanks
