  2. RACV will not touch anything that's had mods to the engine management ie EDIT , not worth the risk find a n insurer.
  3. Who's the repairer they've sent your car to? maybe someone on here has used them before??? ← The cars been sent to Roxburgh smash repairs in Cambellfield.
  4. G'day Guys I had an accident last Friday. My car was towed to one of AAMI's repair centres , I would have liked my chosen repairer to perform the work but instead they sent my car down to another repairer without informing me. Can they do this? surely they should call me and discuss it first , I was prepared to pay the extra between the quotes but was not given the choice. My car is currently at a repairer whom I don't know and have no idea about quality of work they will perform. I understand AAMI choose the repairer and this is stated in there policy, but surely they should have called me before authorising any work. I have put a hold on all work. Totally stressed any advise appreciated Cheers Lucifer

  6. Do yourself and your ride a favour , go custom tune now. Most tuners will only charge you a fraction of the full price after mod's . and if they try whacking you the full monty find a new tuner.
  7. Just found out by APS CAT sh*t itself you should hear the bloody thing rattle , wonder how much this affected the car ?
  8. Looks like I might have to go back to my tuner and ask a few questions , atleast get the car checked out and make sure all is okay. Eventhough the times were all good, overall I'm still a little dissapointed with the power I'm making. My fastest pass was on on the 306kw tune as soon as I loaded the 337kw tune the car conistantlly passed at 12.8 which was a little dissapointing. Cheers Lucifer
  9. Hi all Ran at Calder park last night best time of 12.760 , was a little dissapointed considering the power I'm making. Any thoughts would be appreciated. 60ft 2.111 660ft 8.353 mph 89.11 ET 12.760 MPH 110.90

  12. I actually woud not mind a deeper tone , currently have an APS exhaust. Will removing the centre muffler achieve this or just make it louder?
  13. NO Adam do not use the " W " word , even though it get pretty funny last week.
  14. Hey Sam I did exactly the same thing 2 weeks ago , removed unichip and installed edit also had custom tune . Overall increase was 21rwkw but the difference is so much more than that , really does feel like a new toy with unbelievable grunt down low. You will not regret it just make sure the tuner has experience with the capa box.
  15. 16.4L/100 km? r you sure theres only 6 cylinders? Those figures are way over the top for a stock T . Edit is Capa ford flasher don't think economy is the main game here.
  16. Did you sort this problem out? Mine did a similar thing but only after I had changed my tyres. If I turn my traction off there is no problem that's why I did'n think it was fuel related.
  17. Good time down at the track , it's a lot harder than it looks to get a nice quick pass. Can't ever remember thinking yep I'm happy with that , theres always room for improvement.
  18. The car is an auto , no EDIT still running the unichip from APS. I would have thought 272rwkw should be enough to get me in the 12s. I contacted HPF last week regarding changing the unihip for an edit , this will be my next move. So hopefully with a bit more grunt and me learning how to launch the bloody thing my times will improve.
  19. Thanks guys , I was trying to launch with minimal wheel spin sounds like it might have had a negative effect on my times. Looks like I need to find a quiet road and practice launching. If anybody has any tips now would be a good time to speak up. Cheers Lucifer
  20. Umm , and I thought I got of the line okay , so I gather that's not a good 60ft time. I must admit sort of explains why I was chasing everyone of the line, thought it was just the slow start of the Turbo.

  22. I had my street tyres on normal pressure , really didn't feel like I lost traction along the way. Maybe I'm wrong being my first time out I was pretty nervous to begin with.
  23. Hi All Just got back from calder tonight , my first time on a drag strip. A little dissapointed to be honest. Considering I'm running an APS Phase 11 system the quickest time I could achive was a 13.262 at 110.64 MPH. Had about 9 runs all with a similar time , I stuffed a couple up but when the car was launched okay and there was no wheel spin I still could'nt crack into the 12s. Would that be more me being a novice or the car? Cheers Lucifer
  24. Um , I think I get the picture. EDIT it is, enough already , really didn't want this hijacked. Why not start on tuners next , mine is better than yours or are we all from the same tune house?
  25. Guy next door at work has one , sounds bloody great looks awesome with the scoop. He has 20inch rims on not to sure if they are factory but certainly suits the beast. Good luck I'm sure you will love it
