Legend! Who's gonna drive it? I have some extremely trustworthy workmates if needed. I trust them with my XR, the XC and my life, so they are OK. I wouldnt recommend them if they weren't.

A standard GTi-R will beat a standard XR6T. Nothing new there sunshine! If this thread turns into a slag-a-thon it will be pulled.

Queenstown is a beautiful part of the world, there is a new bar on the wharf called the "Ice Bar", make sure you visit that one, its totally made out of ice! Tables, seats, the lot! Cant stay in there longer than 20 mins I think..... Also, take the gondola's up to the bob sled/restaurant, its great fun!

Brembo's are only available on GT and GT-P's as a factory option at this stage The only Turbo 6 that will be available with Factory optioned Brembo's will be the F6 Typhoon. My 2 cents? AP Racing all the way.

Dont believe me? Go price them up at your local Ford spare parts dept. Front Brembo pads as fitted to all said equipped cars will cost 1K genuine. Get a couple of sets of fronts and a set of rears aftermarket for that (DS2500 Ferodo) Probably the exact same pad too!

It will be interesting to see how the front mount goes. A lot of the GT-R's use bar and plate intercoolers, and they have no problem making over 1000hp these days! ** hint hint **

Not sure on that one! The FPV job and the Sports wheel are very similar in price. There is NO WAY you could get a brand new Sports wheel for $700 from Ford parts. If they sold it to you at $700 they would lose money on the deal. NO parts dept would EVER do that. I know the dealer buy price on the Sports wheel, and I can honestly say it is well over $700. All the XR8's ive seen have had the "normal" wheel fitted, exactly the same as what the factory issues to all XR6's, XR6T's, the only one's ive seen come through with the Sports wheel are those that optioned it. Unless the XR8's are now having the sports wheel fitted in conjunction with the 18's, that im not sure on because we sell bugger all XR8's.

Exactly. "Old style" blowers, while looking impressive, need around 100hp just to drive the thing. Centrifugal blowers dont sap near as much power as that. For ultimate power, twin turbo is the way to go. But centrifugal blowers are still very effective at making big numbers. Just look at Horsepower heroes from the past couple of years. Depends on what you want. If its looks, old school. If its grunt, centrifugal.

"Custom" usually means to me "one off"! So I dont think they would be widely available on the commercial market. It all depends. Is it a fold out TV, or rigid? Single DIN? I reckon the only bloke you are going to buy one off is either a professional car audio mob, or make one yourself.

Vince has been using EMS for years, he was the bloke who originally fitted my Powerdyne blower to the XC originally! He does very good work. Will be interesting to see how the front mount exercise goes. I thought a "restriction" through the intercooler was kinda a good thing, if the charge air flowing though it went through too fast, it may not be cooled down to the fullest amount possible via the outside ambient air flowing through it. If that makes any sense....
