Was meant to get it put in but it didn't come in time or he said leave It till next time. Needed the car today so couldnt wait much longer. Oh well I'll get used to the 300killer wasps when and then go back for some more when I get some free time. Crappy weather today so can't really test it out :(

Nice to meet you today turbz. And I made 297rwkw but wasn't holding boost. When I go bak which will be ASAP getting a new actuator and should hit 320rwkw. Stalled the car about 5 times on the way out with the new clutch then realized my size 13 feet couldn't efficiently push the clutch pedal all the way in lmao. Going to take some getting used to.

Bruce said its probably worth repairing the standard clutch instead of buying a new one. Anyone here repaired the standard twin plate before?

Yeh it does have a high flow cat. Not sure what brand it is though. It's a fairly old cat so probably needs replacing soon

Yeh I have heard plenty of gtrs being tuned there but not many falcons. It was tuned there by the previous owner probably 5 months ago. I was always under the impression that a typhoon with just injectors and a retune should be at 300rwkw... guess I was wrong

Well its already got 272rwkw on 12 psi, with a tune from wilall Mods are 60lb injectors, xcal tune, Jun bl exhaust (unknown diameter) with high flow cat and a turbosmart veeport bov. Bruce recons it should only need a new actuator and retune for 300+

Car goes in to bruce's tomorrow for a clutch repair/retune/new actuator. Hopefully ill break the 300rwkw mark :sungum:

Interesting I doubt I will ever be running around the 400 mark so opt3 should definitely do the trick and run my power levels reliably for a while.

Cheers spoolax. He had personal issues to deal with so just needed some cash. At the moment car has 60lb injectors, xcal tune, turbo smart bov, and I think the exhaust is 3 inch all the way through. Was tuned by Willal for 270rwkw on 12 psi but Bruce recons it's good for around 320 with a new actuator and a re tune with him.

Yeh I have only had the car for a short time so must have been old owner. If u ever see me out chuck us a wave. Would be keen for a cruise when the clutch is done

Hi all just purchased a ba phoon. Couldn't love the car anymore apart from the slipping clutch. Took it down to Bruce the other day an seems like the place to be for turbo falcons. Anyways just thought I would say hi and hopefully join in on any sa cruises that come up. Cheers joe

Clutch has just started to slip at 110,000 km. looking for a new clutch and car has 270rwkw soon to be around 320rwkw. Any suggestions on which clutch to use. Cheers

Never knew that. Thanks for the info. Even with the sct tuner can't run 2 different boost settings?

Only reason I wanted after market boost controller was so I can up the boost when needed. You recon it's not worth it?

Thanks for the replys. Going to go find a decent air intake setup, front mount, boost controller followed by a retune. Hopefully should see a reliable 300+rwkw

I have heard heaps about plazmaman so might head down that track. Currently using an stc hand tuner no idea how to use it though
