3.1 Diff Gears For Bfii Xr6T Automatic
With respect, why do this? It will make stuff all difference to the way the car actually goes. It will cost a fortune as well - and the money could be spent on 50 other things to improve the actual road feel of the car.

Need Help...hunting Rpm While Cruising
My 2 bobs worth.. try to get a new trans from ford even if you have to pay some of it and then do an a/market kit for the cooler. It is ridiculous and all that given the nature of the fault but water in these things looks to be a 'fatal.' You could spend a grand on it and still have an issue later on.

Lsd Diff Oil Options
Have a look on the forum - an interesting gear oil article. Cut/paste below. "There is an Amsoil dealer in Dandenong; their website here: http://www.lubricationmanagement.com.au/catalog/ these links are from 2008 so id advise people that its still good info but out of date. " Makes for informed reading.

Got Me F6 Tuned And Not Really Blown Away?
Interesting. With that reported power level the car should feel pretty good. I use a mixed tank of fuel for tune times. A full tank of 98 minus a drive to then allow for about 8 litres of 95 to allow for the a small safety margin and it is an old habit. Car is a BF manual. When it had 350HP ATW - from a rolling start weather cool at ~ 25Km/hr in second and boot it with a 5800 shift point = factory speed limiter in just on 1100 metres. Some dyno runs at the shop did show a small reduction in power when the day goes over 30 degrees. ( Usual sorts of low end, budget mods to get that power figure.) I think your tuner is really looking after you. Its pretty easy to "over tune" these things which is not funny when it goes bang. Looking at VCM suite tables and live data while on the dyno, the boost in the BF hits hard in the midrange (about 3K) - that is with a stock wastegate flapper. You just cannot bleed it off quick enough which causes overboost and detonation. IMO 95 octane fuel escalates that problem because 98 gives more scope to allow time to get on top of the boost issue. I like proof of this sort of thing, so the car in question was treated to some higher octane fuel and we were able to both increase timing and add a bit of boost midrange which gave a better curve, more power - BUT useless day to day because of fuel cost. XFT have been at this for a while and although I use another tuner, IMO Simon has given you a good result in terms of a power gain and reliability.

Weight Training For Beginners
Plenty of advice in those posts. I think keeping your carbs down at night helps with fat reduction. Low impact exercise ( just walking) keeps your metabolic rate up and cortisol levels down which also helps with fat reduction. Its not great cardio but if you weigh 100KG I'd strongly advise you NOT to road run and you will thank me when you reach 50 because your knees will still be good. Gym machines these days do as much in terms of fat burn without bashing your joints to pieces. Protein sources - plenty available and all of the above recommendations are successful depending on just how dedicated you are in terms of diet and meal planning. IMO, protein after training sessions really helps because muscle overload, repair etc is what produces muscle mass. Training - Get some basic conditioning first and a few sessions with a P/trainer might help you. Then figure out what you want to get in terms of your gym work. IMO - Low reps for strength (5 x5 or 6x6 with 75/80% of your best single lift). For bodybuilding (mass for appearance) 8 - 15 reps and more than one type of exercise for each body part. You have to experiment a bit because some people build on a lot of sets / reps and others on less. For anaerobic capacity - lighter weights done against the clock (1 - 2 minutes) and that is more about short term endurance. A good example of all of this is the programmes they give any of the players in the rugby codes. They are a fair start and you can increase/reduce the workload and exercise types to suit. Finally, you actually do have to rest between sessions. Your body repair / recovery systems will slightly accelerate when you train but not that much. Steroids assist recovery and growth. We all know people take them and get what they want - but some of us know people who paid a very high price for an extra inch on their arms just to pose at the beach.
