  1. I'll have to have a look for him. If it's that price stuff doing it my self hahaha Nah his key is just spin if freely now. He went to turn the car off, felt the bearings come out and the car got stuck on accessory. Can take the key out but can't turn the car completely off.
  2. Just curious to know if anyone has heard of or even used this steering column repair kit? http://media.wix.com/ugd/188c07_de526272c25f41d1a08ac65213717cc2.pdf The bearings have fallen out of a mates car and trying to help him fix it.
  3. Jesus christ! and I thought Baldivis was bad enough haha. Are you using the car as a daily? Mines not to bad, Working away the car doesn't get driven for 2 weeks.
  4. Hmm wonder if they will ever actually fix it -.-
  5. Doesn't seem like it. I asked about drums when I got my last top up. They said we are allowed to fill up drums as long as we are standing on the ground when filling the drum. I think ill just keep collecting jerry cans and build another shelf in the garage... Just for fuel haha
  6. Whats the go with the armadale e85 bowser? Its been out for ages.
  7. Not sure if you remember Luke who used to work at monsta torque? My mates engine is the same specs as his. He wants $5500 for it and a engine swap.
  8. Not bad at all! Taken it down the motor plex?
  9. That's a pretty nifty setup! Made 361rwkw on 98 with the new cooler set up, 395rwkw on the first e85 run after that it started spinning on the dyno a bit. Brendan is still playing with the tune so Ill go back for another run once the new gearbox is in and everything is micky mouse. Only running 1 044 pump as well.
  10. I think ill get through to Thursday, The car is also full.
  11. His already sold everything apart from his motor now that Rob built. Right price and a swap he will sell his motor.
  12. When Osborn park is the closest E85 to Baldivis -.-
  13. Oh ok gotchya. I would imagine on his x3 just selecting factory tune would be enough but then again I don't know if his got a tune to run the built motor or not. Will suss it out. Brendan's already tuned it haha. His going to be doing a zf tune for me as well.
  14. His car had all sorts of work done to it but then he got a yellow sticker and took the whole car back to stock, sold all his go fast bits. Its got a built motor and box in it now on a factory tune I'm pretty sure. Are you concerned about it having a harder zf tune and getting a factory box? Or something else?
  15. Gday guys Going to be swapping my ZF gear box for my mates built ZF gear box. My understanding so far is that if we both have xcal units if we return the cars back to stock then put our tunes back in the cars will read the new gear box's? Do we need to remove the exhaust or anything to get them out? Just curious as well, Is it possible to do this on the floor? Any other advice would be great! Cheers guys.
  16. Cheers mate. The job its self I'm sure is very simple and similar to the plazmaman one I fitted years ago. Its more mounting positions is what I am chasing
  17. Gday guys Just picked up a process west stage 2 intercooler kit for a BF. Does anyone have a copy of the instructions? I have tried emailing Kev from process west and haven't heard back yet. Planning to install the kit in a couple days.
  18. Cheers for that mate ill check them out now
  19. Gday guys can anyone recommend a good shipping company to send a intercooler kit from Victoria to Perth? ?
  20. So I ended up being able to get them today. Used some long nose pliers and a seal pick to hold it in place. Im going to order a smaller magnet and try that too. The job its self is pretty straight forward. Its all the work surround the springs. Timing chain ect. Would you recommend all goo or go with the rubber seal?
  21. Thanks heaps for that guys. Massive help. The only part I don't quiet get from Jet's post is the timing chain. How do you loosen the chain tension with out taking the timing cover off? I was planing to take the timing cover off to replace the seal, I do have a bit of a leak going on down there...
  22. Gday guys. Its been a while. So I need to do my valve springs. I have the atomic tool and I managed to pick up a engine off a mate who is a mechanic. Head gasket on it went so I took it as a learning engine. Pulling it apart and playing around. Been interesting and fun. I am practising doing the valve springs on this before I even think of doing it on my car. Getting the springs out is no worries... Its the frigen collets. Is there some sort of tool I need to get these to sit back in or some trade secretes? Only other thing that left me wondering if I was doing it right was the timing chain. Releasing the pressure on the tentioner wasn't enough to get the chain off. I had to take the tentioner off to be able to get the chain off. Is this normal? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated guys
  23. Was pretty keen on the drags tomorrow night until I found this giving the pig an oil change today... achilles atr sport 2's about 10,000 kays old. Same thing happened to a set the missus had on her Fg. *sigh* now to find a new tyre for the fronts. Always had invos on the rear. Thinking of trying the ku31 or 39 on the front.
