did I mention theres a dyno comp too! this show n shine although there will be some show quality cars there on display there will also be lots of sweet street cars and after the quality of cars I saw on the weekends cruise in here it would be great to see them on display on the Pinjarra footy oval, im taking my ute which should have its brakes and coil overs by then but will be stock so im sure your cars will represent well!! Its Mr Gonz to you...sorry couldnt resist, no it really is just Gonz mate, hey im glad you like the look of my ute, thanks man, appreciate it, the new wheels help as does the lowering and that's all ive done except for the indicator mirrors and tint, now saving up for the brakes, more than likely get Brembos as they would be the cheapest option and that's it for the exterior, oh and an XR8 Bonnet, it a mod im not sure about but after seeing a Sillouette FG XR8 parked next to mine it sealed the deal plus I might put a "Turbo"' sticker so the haters calm down hahah aww thanks mate, I do like yours and they are very different looking front ends, if I had the money I would have an F6! Mine has bad swirl marks too, and I take care but its still got em, I do have to give it some love soon to try and stem the damage but its black, unless its kept in a positive air pressure chamber climate controlled and pampered I think we will be fighting a loosing battle hahaha... good to meet ya Ben, I'll catch ya Wednesday night mate as long as it doesnt rain, basicaly if the Motorplex is open for business I'll be there, im sure if it gets rained out they will rain check the event I would think! Real shame you cant play yet, maybe in a couple weeks all going well, I think I will be going every chance I get before the end of season to get some sort of consistancy in my runs once I work out what works best, Auto shift, Manual shift, Performance mode, 2nd gear launch...who knows, im going to note on my time slips how I did that run so I can see if one method is an advantage over another, first nigh out but, I will be looking for some good photos of my ute at the start line haha... Great cruise guys, and great pics thanks, very well organised and thanks to the guy who waved me down when I missed the Haddling? turn off, I havnt been on a long cruise in ages, its great to be back in a ute and even better to be in an XR6T haha, great to meet yas, I will have forgoten most names but still enjoyed meeting yas, the ute enjoyed the drive too I think, I gave it a good hard run all day trying to keep up with yas yet still managed to average 12.0/100km, it feels heaps different with the new wheels too, doesnt spin the 295's as easy as the 245's I had before but it does feel much more stable on the road with the wider wheels. Look forward to the next cruise, hopefully I catch some of you at WAW this Wednesday night too, cheers, Gonz.

I got the MT ET Streets 265/40 R18, I hope they work ok, but unless it rains on Wednesday night Im going to see what my ute runs stock, I just want to know before I take it in for the XFT goodies mid year so I will get plennty of chances to get some sort of consistancy in my runs as ive only ever drag raced bikes before so this should be interesting haha I hope I can spin the slicks on the night! all good guys, I picked up a pair from XFT today, their used but way cheaper than new so I'll get them mounted tomorrow all ready for the 23rd WAW!! thanks for help guys, cant wait to go down the 1/4 mile, it will be nice to have a solid base before the upgrades, as the ute will be as it is now, lowered with the sme slicks/rolloing diameter and so on, so I will be getting heaps of runs in before the seasons out and the tune due mid year if I can wait that long hahaha, I wouldnt put money on the mid year tune either, im sure the mod bug will bite in no time, plus I'll want to keep up with you lot haha.. Hey guys I want to run my ute at the WAW, ive got a set of 18x8's to put some drag radials onto but im wondering if its worth doing it with 18's, will it work ok later on down the track after XFT get there hands on my ute?

thanks man, I had a look and they are the dearest, well there advertised net price is, CMP have been the cheapest at $375ea so looks like I'll get them from them so I have them in time for WAW on the 23rd as they are ex east. Still tosing up whether its worth getting 18" drag radials, ive put the question up in the WAW thread... Gonz.

I looked it up on line but I couldnt find them in store at CMP, I'll have to ring them tomorrow, the only store who I found had them in Perth was Prorace Products but no price so I will have to ring them too, do you guys in here go to WAW much? anyone keen, if I get the MT's supplied and fitted in time I'll be keen to go Wednesday 23rd (next week)? Hey dean, do you guys have the tyre machines that doesnt damage the rims, the last tyre shop I used gouged the inside of my wheels, didnt notice till months later when I had to take my wheels off and saw the damage now I thought my only choice would be someone like tech9 or similar, also do you sell drag radials or can you? ive got 18x8's ready to go just need to find what the best drag radial will be for Wednesday night drags? anyone got any sugestions on 18" drag tyres on an 8" wide rim? Gonz.

ive never heard of anyone gettng banned, the only way that would happen was if you endangered anyone on a cruise by driving like a loonatic or just a keyboard warrior, anyways those guys are no longer so feel free to come along on this cruise, that goes for any ute Friday 25th, pm me for details!! Great personally I can make that, as far as a start time if 10 will be the earliest then I'll be happy with that or any time after that, its my only day off that week and I need all the beauty sleep I can get, plus I have a piss up the night before lol! now that will be a "moon roof" haha, yeh, we do have a couple of sedans come with us but they own utes that are either broken or in build or only driven on Sundays type thing, some folks do get ther back up if sedans rock up even more so when they are faster hahah...!!

Im organising a meet point in Rockingham for the Southerners to depart at 6:00pm at the Rino Car Wash crn of Dixon Rd and Ennis Ave on Friday night the 25th of February or the main cruise meet up will be in Fremantle's Maritime Museum car park(southern E Shed car park)at 6:30pm Departing at 7pm SHARP, cruise includes a pizza meal in Trigg. Its a casual meet up so no stress, after pizza its a freelance cruise so we'll head to wherever for whatever, I even like to stop somewhere for a perv, I mean, a quiet beer on the way home!! cheers, Gonz.

Some dude on AFF, he said he wa told by some other dude who sells brakes( site sponsor) that they will fit but the pad wear will be uneven? something about a leading edge being on the wrond side causing the uneven pad wear, so yes they will fit but its not ideal, who could I talk to here in Perth about this issue? hey guys, whats a set of good condition BF 4 Pot Brembos with disk's worth? I hope to be swapping my 50th Anniversary wheels for a set of wheels of a blokes BF as he is stripping it down so that he can sell the car, anyways, the brembos will not fit behind the 50th Anniversary wheels so the Brembos must be removed and sold but unfortunately will not suit my FG and FTG are selling FG 4 Pot Brembos and disk's for $2500 which I think its a good price, anyone wanna do a group buy?

Hi, Just wondering if the Auto switched fitted in sedans can be retro fitted to the switch base of a ute? I figure if I buy a sedan switch assembly and remove the two rear window switches it will work as long as the diamentions to fit back into the bezzel is the same and the wiring plug at the bottom? anyone know if this can be done, im not liking not having Auto windows in my ute! cheers in advance, Gonz.
