Want to get my car on E85 was going to buy a 205L drum but noticed the local United servo in Patterson lakes has E85 and its also cheaper to buy. Just want to know if there are any differences between the 2? I just ordered a E85 tester should arrive in a week from the USA so will be checking the quality of E85 at Patterson lakes but I read somewhere that there are 2 batches a summer batch and a winter batch is this true? If there are 2 different batches then might be best to get it by the drum if so what’s the storage life of this stuff in the correct drum? As you can tell I don’t know a great deal about this stuff so all info would be helpful Cheers, Niko

I was originally going to get a atomic motor and get Rajab to tune it but just wanted to know how good these atomic engines really are

In the process of building a engine for me car just not sure which way to go. I like to here some feed back from people who have atomic engines or got a built engine from a place in Victoria. Since im in Victoria not sure if its worth going with atomic because they are in Sydney and the warranty they give might not be worth it like if something is to go wrong will atomic pay for my engine to come out and shipped back to Sydney then returned and put back in??. If you got a atomic engine can you share with us how they are and if you got it built from atomic or just got a engine rebuild kit and most of all are they reliable because there 10K+ and want to make sure I do it right and this info will hopefully help few other people that's in this position. Well for me no as I think its more than enough for what I want

Since no one knows I decided to go out and get a 8” Rockwood fosgate sub and a few sheets of dyna mat (vibration sound proof) personally I don’t think it done much lol. Hooked it up to the factory amp sounds awesome for what it is no more popping and sh*t when its turned up im really happy with it and I read somewhere on here about crossing wires over on the factory sub for better sound I done this on my new sub and gave it even more bass only thing is im pretty sure the factory amps put out 150w peak 4-Ohm and the sub I got is a dual 4-Ohm 500w peak so I bridged the wires from the sub then going to the amp so im guessing the amp is working flat out with a hi chance of it getting fried lol but I was told that few has been done and still going well after few years of use so see how we go. Reason I got the dual 4-ohm one is because there’s no dual 2-Ohm subs Rockwood subs in stock and will be a few months wait but this way sounds better and was told after a few days of use will sound even better. Hopefully this info will help anyone wanting to upgrade their sh*tty factory sub as this is a massive improvement Part No. Rockwood Fosgate Dual 2-Ohm P2D2-8 Dual 4-Ohm P2D4-8

I’m looking at upgrading the factory amp and sub nothing big just a better free air 8” sub that's fits in the parcel shelf like in the picture and a better amp to suite. I want to use the same loom that’s connected to the amp is there a way I can use this loom for the new amp? And any suggestions of what type of amp and sub I should get? Just disconnected my sub and sounds much better gonna look around tomorrow for a better sub hopefully will sound even better. Any one know whats a good sub to get that works well with the factory amp?
