  1. Congrats on your beast mate!!! How r u and the rest of the guys liking your new machines?? I just sold my FPV GS 315 and got one of these bad boys! Took a couple of shots, but I'm not aloud to wash it for 3 days because of the after care! Has anyone tuned the rspec yet? If so what power r we looking at? I know it shouldn't be different from the rest of the coyote but it would be interesting to see results from an rspec!!
  2. Cheers guys I will Look them up and get some recommendations!! hey benny have you had much work done to your beast?? what power you pullin or aiming for??
  3. Thanks for the advice benny, I will be moving to brisbane so it will be alot less humid!!! so I will troll this forum to see who I can trust in brisbane to tune my beast.... Well to be quite honest with ya I just want to get it over 400 and I will be happy, just didnt know where to start. Looking at the police GT 400rwkw, it only has exhaust and pully change , so im thinking if they did that and that's the only difference it might be a viable option!! unless better guidance with lower but safer coin can be given!!
  4. Hey dude any updates with this??? how did you go? get what you were after???
  5. Hey lads I'm toying with the idea of a few more gentle mods to bring the girl upto 400rwkw!! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I will be moving to brissie area. From what I have been told injectors, exhaust and retune will return those numbers. What is the fuel like after injectors as I was told once u replace injectors, u can't retune the veh to standard tune for services etc because of how the ecu is mapped in the tune. The stats of my car if u haven't read the start of the thread is tuned on 95 in Townsville ( hot and humid climate ) and is making 352rwk
  6. Happy Birthday Ewaaaah!

  7. Thanks for the support and guidance guys!!! unfortunately I wont be hitting the track any time soon, as the scrutineer told me I couldn't take my car down as it was too fast (not time but MPH) and required a 4 point harness. So this being the appropriate thread, my next mod is to find a good 4 point harness (2 1/2 in - 3 in wide) and without ripping the car apart. A bit devo seeing it was my first time and I cant take it back in a hurry lol! anyway as promised below is a link to a run and there are more in the channel.
  8. Ok so as an update, I had my first time at the drags and have to say I need a lot more practice lol! My launch's were rubbish but reaction got down to .790, 60ft 1.899 and best best run from 10 that night was 12.74. Tyre pressure was high at 40 psi on standard dunlops and the tyre temp was up at 65-70 deg cel. Ill upload a link for a vid sneak peek!, take it easy on me lol!!! Sent from my iPad using my right hand HD
  9. Ok so as I said I would update u guys once I got the tune!!!! Now don't get me wrong I'm extremely happy with this tune but I thought it would squeeze a little more out of it..... Considering it is a lot more humid up here in the tropics and apparently not using bp ultimate 98 octane makes a difference to the tune, I used premium vortex 95 octane. The overall out comes as 352.1 rwkw with 655 nm torque, for more info see attached Dyno sheet.
  10. Wayno the tune is around 1000 bucks roughly, well I hope that a tuned GS should smash a std xr6t ute!!! brett I havnt really got much time to travel to Mackay for this tune, but Aitkenvale Auto are doing this one for me and I have been told that they are one of the better ones here in Townsville. But really if a tunes no good how hard is it to re-tune?!! plus more work down the track he maybe an option. By the way the drag way day has now changed to sunday, only for this weekend so ill be rippin it down!! cant wait to get amongst it.......... and brett if ya down there come over and say hi!!
  11. Ok so after getting through the christmas period and spending all my cash on presents and piss! The GS is going in this thursday for a tune!!!! im very excited and I will post the dyno slip on here once completed. Futhermore this Sat will be its first time down the 1/4 mile so im keen to see what it will pull with the tune. A work mate just bought a xr6t ute mk2 with no mods saying he will thrash me!! anyway I will also be replacing the tyres after the drags and installing a tyre pressure monitoring system for the Z fest cruise at dubbo that im driving down to as a ring in lol !! anyway ill keep u guys posted.
  12. Couldn't agree with you more pcw!! All of what you said helped me decide to trade my XR50T, but I could get a better deal with the GS so I took that offer!! nice write up mate!!
  13. Thanks for putting this up mate!! im very impressed with your results and cant wait to show you guys my results aswell
  14. Hey Howsee, if you get some spare time uploading your dyno sheets would be awsome!!! kinda excited to see what my car will make from what your done !! cheers
  15. Thanks guys I do understand, although I just want to see what a rough torque figure would be as I havnt tuned the GS yet! but my2010 fg xr50t had 908nm so I was seeing if they would roughly be the same or which made more!!
  16. Wow is that acurate on the torque howsee?? mark whats with the nurse all the time lol?
  17. Hey guys there is alot of talk about kw how about torque??? what r they making standard and then with a tune??
  18. Yeah I have tried dashcommand, REV with my iphone and ScanMaster-ELM for my laptop, which is the best one I have found so far. I was just seeing if anyone have found a bang for buck program, that covers everything we need aswell to see how you were travelling with your program. :sungum:
  19. Ok guys an update on the filter, Bowie you pretty much nailed it, but the Part number is KNE-1993. For more detailed info on the filter, see the below web address and or search ebay and google which will retrieve the results you are after for the filter!! Hope this helps. :sungum: http://shop.rocketindustries.com.au/products/KNE-1993
  20. Thanks guys, appreciate it! well I was changing it anyway so I thought I would create it, but it wouldn't let me post it in the tutorial section!! Personally I think the throttle response seems to have been slightly better and a bit more power. It is noticeable but not huge (each car may differ obviously). So I would like to get better knowledge of the quad aftermarket exhausts out there, which I may do a tutorial for when I get it. I still have my flash tuner so when the exhaust gets done Ill get it tuned and that should be about it for now!! :sungum:
  21. Just to get an update guys, whats the best OBDII software out at the moment??? and jonn that rapidshare link is not working!! nice work envy how is the program going any updates and links up and running??
  22. My Old 2010 FG XR6T 50th Anniversary made 243rwkw stock, only after K&N and tune it made 265.9rwkw with 908nm torque.
  23. Moderators please move this to the correct section. I have taken the time to create a DIY for a K&N replacement on the 5.0s/c Engine, which is basic but if I help one person out by doing this, then I have achieved what I am aiming for. ~Tools For the Job: ~K&N filter (obviously) ~8mm socket & ratchet or driver. ~Star screw driver (will re-check size!) ~Time (15-20 Mins)
  24. I just had a look bowie, and that's them according to description. Although I didnt check the measurements, that is a great price!! for those that cant find them, here it is: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/K-N-AIR-FILTER-FORD-FPV-FG-315-GS-335-GT-GT-P-5-0L-S-C-V8-10-2010-KNE1993-/140645998345?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20bf279f09
  25. Thanks guys!! and I totally agree on suspension worm, she does look high. Im up in townsville Howsee, which im not sure if the heat kills the performance up here, but im guessing that it would. Just pricing up a set of brembos atm should be interesting to see how much they are!
