Yeah I asked Dom from Prestige this last week as I thought the xforce system was a bit quiet and he reckons they have an optional hotdog section to replace the centre muffler section. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That install price of 220 was from your mate Dom! Dont think he wasn't too impressed that I got the exhaust from over east but o well.. he wont be installing my system at that price anyways.. How much would the hotdog cost extra.. anyone know? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Stuff him, why should you pay more when you can get it cheaper somewhere else, I noticed on Herrods site that they charge about $70 on top of there exhausts for fitting so anywhere around $100 would be a reasonable price.

hey mate. at the back the guard pretty much sits level with the top of the tyre and at the front there is a slight gap. I thought it would have gone lower but I am very happy with the end result as I can still negotiate driveways and speed bumps no worries, didnt have to roll guards at all even with a full car and full boot still no scrubbage. however I only have 245 tyres all round. as for price im not sure what the modensa are worth but I think these wheels retail for about $700 a rim plus I paid close to $300 for tyres fittted and balanced. hope that helps, craig <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks mate. Just did a search for hyperflow, and found their xr6t cooler.. Also a CAI on the page as well. I cant find a price but I no MRT are very expensive and would expect this cooler to be similar in price to the APS unit.. Less than I would have thought. But still a bit spendy... Its probably a pretty stupid question, but whats the advantage of going for these as opposed to just getting the leaves reset? Looks good mate, how does it sit with the ssl's, is there a gap between tyre and guard still? Are they as expensive as the ROH Modenas??

Can I asked how much you paid?? I went and spoke to Dom from Prestige yesterday and he showed me that there was an optional centre section which was basically a straight through pipe and hotdog compared to the quieter muffler. He also said that Xforce are bringing out a 3.5 system soon. As for the tips either side(which I'll probably be doing) you can run another pipe out the back of the rear resonator, I think Prestige already have one made up to suit.

Mines done 3500kms and I find it to be inconsisten at times too but I think its just a heat thing

Your ute will have leafs at the back so it will be different to the sedans, I just had a look at my ssl and yes they're sitting on the bump stops, im just wondering if I should trim them or just leave it as is??

Mcinerney replaced a diff in my ute aswell as o2 sensors and an engine and clutch so far in my turbo.

So say I owned an xr8 with a custom tune and decided to trade it on a xr6t could I get the box unlocked so I could use it on my T but keep the map for the XR8 in there and use the other 2 spots for the T's maps then say I decided to trade back to an xr8 get it unlocked again and install the original cutom map from the 1st XR8????? If that makes any sense?

I rang C.A.P.A and they praised the product but steered me away from using it on the manuals as its to thick for the syncro's. im aware they make different grades of redline, but the bloke said redline is like a "moreys" product its more tacky than normal oils, so it may still be thin but its gunna be tacky and that's the downside to using it with syncro box's. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No worries mate, hopefully I'll get it done within the next week or 2.
