Hmm.. I paid 1000 about 3 months ago, 23 yo, 06 bf T, through aami.. This is with automatic rating 1 due to my parents being rating 1's. 10% discount for doing it over the net and a further 10% discount for completing their defensive driving course back when I was 18 (which is free by the way).. I have a 2500 excess though.. Anyone able to get a low excess?

I've come to the conclusion that if you drive it softly and have constant cruising speed at leastsome of the time then it's easy to get around 15 but as soon as you smSh it around a bit and are stop starting it just sky rockets. In saying that what's an extra couple if bucks to have fun, money well spent imo
