And it's pissing down now!

Getting more overcast here at palmy, super windy and a few spots of rain...

I work and live in palmy

So turns out I had to loose my license anyway.... 3 months for 30+ and 3 months for exceeding my 12 demerits... I was only able to elect to do 12 months on 2 points probationary period for one of the 3 months.... loosing it for 30 over the limit isnt negotiable with RTA. Well im 2 days in and im already going nuts, I bought the fastest petrol scooter to get round on (Go-ped gsr46r) hopefully get it this week from the states! in the mean time and am lucky enough to have 3 workmates drive past my house for lifts to work and bought a site tool box to leave on site (im a chippy) So yea now to find somewhere to keep the ute for a while.... Tried to get dads audi RS4 out of priority...didnt work

I think this will not be fun at all in the rain... Everyones nicely polished/ cleaned cars...Pittwater/barrenjoey rds hidden potholes under water...

I can imagine it would pump with that sealed sub and all.... :S

Yea spewing, happened at chrissy got done 30 over double demerits (10 points) , thought I could do the 12 month good behaviour. turns out its 3 months loss for 30 over and 3 months for exceeding my 12 points... so I was only able to do good behaviour for the points.... so I loose it on monday for 3 months... There good friends of mine and love getting their gear off...and yea I was on that cruise to palmy when they defected about 15cars. They were only pulling in the "fully sick" cars

Im thinking of getting some of my girlfriends to come get pics with the cars... they live 5 mins from palmy so if they are free ill get them to come. Put riding_tom down too!

Ill check it out this weekend, cant imagine it would be busy as its on the other side to the restaurants and separate to the marina? its usually pretty empty.

theres a massive carpark on the spit bridge that would be good for that? I Live on the beaches so want somewhere to meet before palmy so I could jump in there?

yep count me in for sure! couldnt pass up a cruise straight past my house on the beaches....

Just bought a new gopro so will have 3 good camera angles now, and another on dads rs4 trying to keep up haha...

Have taken the tailshaft back to ford (wish I took some pics), and pretty much said, since you guys destroyed it, you can fix it now... And yea its a fg, I know its going to happen again... and if they refuse it next time ill just fork out the $2500 and get mal to make up a bomber shaft. and yea it is just the center bearing but the guys at Hardie Spicer said my cv was shot also? ill soon find out though.

Late reply guys, but yeah, just got my letter after paying the fine 2 months ago.... Says I can either loose it for 3 months or good behaviour bond for 12 months with only one point (like every ones said). Im a chippy, so cant afford to be using public transport, so im going to try drive like a grandma for the next 12 and do the good behaviour.

I havnt noticed any rattles, but when I get my ute back from ford, ill be listening very very carefully, Getting as many fg ute driver as possible to form a pact for ploblems like this and the CENTER bearing bullsh$%!! is what we need....

No I havnt put a new tail shaft in, The utes ony done 8,500kms! I just think that its a badly designed tailshaft and supports, and cant handle the power... the amount of center bearings going on the fgs is bullsh$%.....

Center bearing shat itself.... Got towed to ford the day after I posted this, Been fighting them to get it fixed under warranty (saying its been abused, and "we have never done a center bearing on any fg ute" Bull sh%$... ever since 3 weeks later and I still have no ute... And problem is still not resolved, a new tailshaft cost $2500 from ford fitted, because its one unit and ford havnt made the bearing replacable?? So ford tried to send the bearing off to an unkown "tail shaft specialist" they wouldnt tell me who, got a quote back of $500 just to fit a volvo bearing it its place... in the mean time I called hardie spicer who said they could fit a new bearing, silicone implant it, as they say this makes it last heaps longer, and balance it for $200. So I get my tailshaft and center bearing back off ford drive all the way out to Moorebank from manly over 2hour return trip, then they call me the following day saying who ever tried to remove the bearing from the center bearing mount has "farked" it (buy angle grinding the 2 locking tabs off... SO I rip shreds into the "f" wits at ford and he tells me well we can fix the mount, but I dont want it fixed I want it replaced! But like I said it comes as one unit whole tailshaft which they dont want to fork out becuase they have already "rejected this as warranty" so now its up to The franchised Titan ford to do it. So I know ill get it back dodged, and it'll happen again in another 8000kms!! Ford need to get thier act together and fix this problem asap, im seeing more and more posts about center bearing going after low kms....

Your lucky! ive only done 8500kms in my fg f6 ute and my centerbearing went... and there not doing it under warranty!

The tail shafts just cant handle the power... ive done 8500km and my center bearings farked, and the rear cv is also shot, and there not doing it under warranty.... I heard there not using a different tailshaft?? If they wont do it under warranty id be going to Mal Wood.
