just did this mod to my car but mixed it up a bit I used some pluming fittings 3/4 inch m.I brass plug ( use to plud off the larger hose) 1/2 inch nipple (thread tap 1 end with allot of thread tape push this into the outlet of the bov) 1/2 inch f/I cap ( drill a 3 mm hole in this and screw onto the 1/2 inch nipple then get some black electrical tap and tap around the brass fittings just to hide the fact that you bov is atmospheric venting) makes a nice tututututu sound

ok after allot of swearing and frustration I got the front struts out nd replaced the springs with kingsprings sits at a nice level now will take pics latter in

Well get the ute back this arvo so will put the springs in tonight nd see how we go

yeah I might look into geting the rear leafs reset anyway will see what the blocks look like though

yep now gotta just try fit my springs and a hks bov

ok iv got some stuff to lower my ute kingspring front (KFFL-57SL) nd 1.5 inch blocks for the rear now I know what people say about blocks but I like the ease of being able to take them out if I need to start using the ute as a ute. just want to know if any1 elce has this combo in ther ute nd what it looks like

woohoo get my baby back tomorrow not costing me a single cent they have put in a second hand long motor only has 60 000 on it (ba) but is not costing me so not to worried apparently they were saying my car has quite a few after market parts on it f6 snorkel and some really expensive clutch and many other bits and pieces

hmmm tempting to get this done wonder if removing the center muffler nd replacing standard rear would make any more sound diference

firstly iv read this entire thread nd have already learnt alot I hav a 03 ba xr6t ute 5 speed manual it has the snorkle in the air intake already (I think neway short rubber intake roughly 200mm long into rectangle hole in the front of box)is that right ? also I was told by a exaust shop that u wouldent get much sound/ performance difrence unless changing the entire system quoted $1600 , now I would like to get to around the 300rwkw mark what do u recomend also do they do coilover kits to replace the rear leaf springs in the ute's chears rohan

was only myself nd kyle173 that turned up sorta exspected it but once leaving yattla to head back home the sun came out so anoying

in looking at the radar I dont think its going to hang around that much longer so still on guys forcast says that it should ease to a few showers shortly

im still happy to go ahead with it if a few others are keen
