  1. It's the road from Adelaide to... Port Wakefield!

I too was referred by Aami to Just Car Insurance because of mods.
  3. 307kw here. That's with edit, injectors and cold air intake. I haven't had it on the drag strip since getting edit though.
  4. I usually spend about an hour washing my car, and I think that's too long!

I put $20 of Boost 98 in tonight. Can't notice any difference, but as I still had a fair bit of petrol in the tank, it's not yet running on 100% Boost 98. Will probably fill up on the stuff during the week and then get a good idea of what if any differences it makes with my car.
  6. You dont pay for the globes yourself do you?? Dazza. Yes, because I believe that it's a good idea to replace blown headlight globes ASAP, rather than waiting (possibly days) until the next opportunity to take my car to a Ford dealer. And there is no Ford dealer which is conveniently located for me.
  7. Mine only goes up to 99.9 too. Maybe they've changed the design; my car is a pretty early build.
  8. I've had heaps of trouble with low beam lights blowing too. I'm getting quite proficient at replacing them now. No problem with foggies though. Somebody needs to design a globe that doesn't get destroyed when you get a speck of dust on it!
  9. I don't think it's too big... but it's not up to me!
  10. Here in SA, it's the number of cylinders that affects the cost of rego. A V8 costs more than a 6, which in turn costs more than a 4. And rotaries fit in there somewhere.
  11. The original and still the best!
  12. Can't be flat out if it's not reading 99.9!
  13. I'm more of an Alonso fan than a Raikkonen fan, but I'm just glad that somebody other than MS is winning. Can't wait to hear Advance Australia Fair played after a race though.
  14. F#ck the Cows :fawkdance: GO THE POWER! :naughty: Go the POWER
  15. Maybe try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes so that the radio resets. Probably won't make any difference, but worth a try.
  16. Lately here in Adelaide, the price has been going up about 10c/L every Friday or Saturday, then going back down 10c over the course of the week. This last week the price did its usual rise, and just stayed there. Haven't ventured out on the roads yet today, but I imagine it's probably gone up another 10c today.
  17. I second that motion. Go the SAINTS<insert evil laugh here>
  18. Anyone know any other sites. That one seemed to only have the prices for one tyre.
  19. I take it that's for 17's, not 18's? I bloody well hope so 'cos I just paid $350 a corner for my F1's (in 18")! That's a pretty good price for a big brand tyre in 18's.
  20. Very simple question. Are there any websites around for tyre places, where they actually show what they charge for various tyres? Or maybe a website that shows RRP of various tyres?
  21. I take it that's for 17's, not 18's?
  22. Don't know where you learned maths YCL, but it would actually make LPG about 67c/L.
  23. Yeah, I knew a few of the poeple in the cars that left the same time as me, so I went down to Victor Harbor with them. The coppers had the defect book out down there... did that RX3 with the chameleon paint and the ute with the airbag suspension. And on the way back, I think I managed to hit every bug between Victor Harbor and Adelaide! :banghead:
  24. This issue was discussed ages ago. It's my understanding that the cruise control basically can't keep the speed constant when you're going down hill. I'm probably not doing a good job of explaining, but the cruise control applies throttle and this increases the speed, so then it reduces throttle and the speed drops, so it increases throttle and so on. Only happens at high speed and when going down hill.
